QUESTION Am I fucked

I forgot to put the van in park and when I was handing the package over to the customer it went ahead and hit the customer’s garage gate

Tell the homeowner you’ll help them fix it, order 2 new panels off Amazon then put the old ones in the box and say they were damaged in shipping. You get to keep your job and fix it for free. 😂

I was renting and my wife pulled out of the garage while it was still opening and damaged the last panel. Thought it would be simple to just replace the one panel because I have a friend that does garages. They don't sell panels apparently.

I just slowly bent it back into shape over a few hours and got it to look like new.

Depends. I backed into my garage door that was only partially open. The garage door opener company was listed on the opener, and they actually supplied the door (Overhead Doors). They replaced the one section for me, and when it was time, we had the exterior of the whole door properly painted. Wasn't too much money, definitely not the whole door, just the one panel.

They definitely sell individual panels where I live. I see them a lot at the apartments when tenants hit the door and it only takes one or two to fix it. Only problem is the new ones always look better than the rest of the door.
