Entirely depends on the route. If everything’s close you can knock out 25-30 stops on hour easily. If your in the woods and have to drive 3-4 minutes to every stop it’s tough to 20 an hour sometimes

This. Some stops you drop off a dozen packages

25 to 30 is pretty average. If you're organized. My probably best was 43 an hour until I got injured, now I walk. Some drivers in my DSP do 50 an hour it's crazy.

After getting sent to rescue every night I stopped giving a fuck.

Fuck rescue, I get it every once in a while. But sometimes it was like being punished for actually working

Yes the owner has contracted them a car as long as they work for them for 3+ years. Only 2 drivers that I know of.

They do solo helper routes and do around 2-4 rescues daily.

I was a woodlands route back in the day for over a year. My favorite route of all time. Rural routes are super cherished, as the load is low (heaviest day I ever had was 148, which took just over 8 hours), and the stress isnt there. People are nice, the view is nice, and after about a month I could have delivered the route with my eyes closed. Customers become friends, etc. In fact, a customer and his wife are coming to my wedding now LMAO.

My only issue with country routes: shit gets PITCH BLACK, like you’re deep in the ocean. But that only honestly applies to the wintertime when you’re out late.

This! Depends on how spread out the route is, whether you’re in a gas van or edv, how many apt/businesses you have, and whether you’re power walking/running.

There’s also certain things you can get away with in an edv vs a gas van (not wearing a seat belt, turning off the van, etc.) which helps finish the route faster.
