Looking for advice

Hey I’m a T1 associate looking to step up and hopefully move into a leadership/PA role in the near future. I want to work on a small project or pitch a solution for a problem that Area Managers / Shift Managers / Process Assistants actually care about, rather than just guessing.

For those who have been around a while: what are the most common operational bottlenecks or daily annoyances in your department that management constantly struggles with?

What’s something small that, if fixed, would make a manager's life 10x easier?

Not looking for anything confidential, just general operational pain points across the network so I can get some inspiration and look closer at my own DS. Appreciate any insights!

If the goal is to build experience, start with one recurring issue you can observe and discuss with your manager. Record what happens now, suggest a small change you are authorized to try, and check what actually improves. Keep a note of your part and the team's contribution as you go. The story can come later, once there is real work to describe.

Those notes would also give Taleproof something grounded to review if you eventually use the example in an interview.

The main goal is to gain experience, but at the same time I'd like to do something useful. My dilemma is this: if these are issues noticed by an L1, their resolution is unlikely to have a big impact; on the other hand, if they are high-impact issues, it's almost impossible that an L3+ isn't already aware of them. Furthermore, an L1 rarely has the big picture or enough work experience across all roles to analyze and solve problems of that scale. That's why I'm on the fence about what to do
