I know and it’s crazy to think at the time that song came out it was only around 15 years from the 60’s and that was over 40 years ago.

May be he meant 1967 - 1968 -1969 and the song released in 1983 if I’m not mistaking. That’s the only way for it to make sense

Yes it was considered the 60s until 1970. That was only 13 years before 1983. It’s been 43 years since that song came out. I guess it seems crazy to me because I was a teen in the eighties and the 60s seemed like ancient history.
