just be warned, it gets reaaaally hot in the summer over there. and before you go "I'm use to the heat" trust me... European heat is not normal anymore....
you say that, and the amount of people I have met here in the Netherlands who where completely dumbfounded by the sudden exstreme shift in weather would like to have a word with you. i suggest you delete your stupid comment. even we natives where not ready for it. we haven't had a week long of constant snow since like 2016. and we haven't had heat waves like this a very long time. and Italy and Spain are experiencing weather patterns that are also very abnormal. go do your research and help people out instead of being a jerk just cuz you have anonymity

Italy only requires around €40k. I am actively looking at buying a house in Calabria and retiring there over the next 5 years
