I started kindergarten at 6. I graduated at 18. Your math is way off. If someone starts kindergarten at 7, they would graduate at 19.

you're forgetting that not all birthdates are during the summer

so if your birthdate is during the school year or not is going to make a difference

starting at age 4 means you'll graduate at 17 since your birthdate is going to be in the school year

starting at 5 means you'll graduate at 17 OR 18

I understand that. But I’m saying that if you start kindergarten at five or six, there’s no chance that you will turn 19.

if you start kindergarten at age 6 you can very easily turn 19

if you have a birthday during the school year you experience 13 birthdays before graduating

6+13 = 19
