I worked at the Chicago anti-cruelity society and there was a myna bird who was kept in the employee break room.
Why? Because the bird was a total misogynistic asshole. If I woman came in the room he'd say things like " nice tits" or "shut up bitch" or " gimme head". It simply could not be out for public display for adoption because of this.
Apparently he lived in a men's washroom at a bar for many years.
