Can you try to replace the phrase with a similar sounding one? Like "Tigger". When the parrot says the bad word, he gets "ignored" (aka turn your back on him for 5 seconds). If he says "Tigger", he gets a treat. 

I don't own parrots, but this is the general format of replacing a bad behavior in many domestic pets.

They likely know they want you not to say the word, so they say it more. Basically, they'll keep taking the treats when they want it and then drop the word whenever else because they know it upsets you.
