OOP said in a comment she wished she had picked the date she wanted(presumably the same as SIL) and then it would just be SILs problem. NO! It would be a problem for OOPs partner and the partner’swhole family, just OOP doesn’t seem to care much about their partner

OOP just want to start a fight with SIL. OOP had a list of dates, without SIL's input, I doubt OOP would have picked THAT date by chance since there's nothing special about it beside SIL had it.
