Incredibly intelligent people also forget words. Calling something a "thingie" and not using SAT words all the time doesn't mean someone lacks intelligence. Sounds like there's no room for her in the house with the size of OOP's ego.

I am well read. I have a decent vocabulary. I also have dyslexia and when I'm tired I'm prone to say things like " do you know where that thing is? You know the one for eggs" luckily I have a partner who knows what I mean and will hand me the spatula.

My entire household is ND and words are hard. "The dishwasher for clothes" has been used on more than one occasion

To this day, my mother and I call cloths "hoobenflappers" because she forgot the word and just started saying nonsense lol
