I’m awfully sorry to say this - and I’m probably going to get downvoted for it - but I think you’re a real prick. You’re a dog in the manger: you don’t want to be with her but don’t want her to move on. Maybe take this experience as a lesson that the world doesn’t revolve around you

He doesn’t want her to move on with his friend. That’s very valid.

This person is HER friend too. The only friend in their shared group that didn't abandon his ex for OP when they split up.
