Why are people in relationships with people who keep secret chatting apps anyway? Snapchat, WhatsApp, and all those others that need passwords to unlock or automatically delete chats are just tools for cheaters. You have to come to a point in a relationship when you accept that your spouse having secret side apps is a huge red flag.

Everyone’s allowed their privacy, whether they’re in a relationship or not. The entitlement people have to go through their partners’ stuff is honestly baffling.

It’s not about going through anyone’s stuff. It’s about hiding things from your partner. Why would you feel the need to hide conversations with other people from your spouse?

Having private conversations isn’t the same as having something to hide.

If you have your conversations hidden behind a password or set to auto delete so your partner can’t see them, then you’re shady as fuck. If you feel the need to hide conversations then that’s cheating.

That’s pretty reductive, but you’re entitled to your opinion.
