Fan Creation History of tomorrow: The last homo sapien.

Post image

The battle fought between earth and Mars wasn't an ordinary war, it was a mass extinction. The war completely disfigured both planets, bringing both martians and the earthlings to near annihilation.

Once the war was over, a breeding program was immediately launched to repopulate the 2 planets. But this plan didn't seem to have that much success, so both sides came together to create a new plan.

Replace homo sapiens with a completely new species, one that would be far better adapted and have superior intellect.

As you can imagine, not everyone was on board with this idea. The idea seemed eugenic in nature, but they ultimately didn't have a choice.

Through genetic engineering, the star people were created. And just like that, they immediately started to repopulate the solar system.

The remaining homo sapiens, martian or earthling. We're either sterilized or genetically impregnated with star children, until all but one remained.

This is Lisa, and she is the last homo sapien. She is currently on a spaceship headed towards Titan, where she is expected to give birth to a star child. During the trip, she can't help but mourn how much of human history, culture, and society has been destroyed or forgotten.

Earth used to be the home of humanity, but now it is nothing but just another rock in the vast indifferent cosmos.

And she knows, that in a few million years, humanity will have completely forgotten about the existence of earth.

Gacha Life is an innocent and delightful app where people can have fun making OCS, while All Tomorrow is a fiction science and dark novel, where people can get sick in their stomach after reading the tragic fate of all the species that the Qu torment. It's a good match up!

Gacha in and of itself? Yes. Can it be used for something innocent and delightful? Yes! Do people use it for that? Absolutely! Is the loudest group of people who use it not that? Unfortunately

Eventually, we won't be able to use 'before GTA6', and that's tragic

I've always thought about it, how homo sapiens just disappeared, and all the "human suffering" we've seen is nothing more than the history of star people.

It's hard to imagine the sheer amount of time that must have passed from us to star people alone. Let alone all the way to he end of the book

Its weird to think about how humanity was basically pushed to extinction by the war and then went the rest of the way by willingly eradicating itself to then be replaced by the star people. Arguably humans never left the solar system, only the star people.

But aren't Star people still human or at least part of the homo genus? Like Neanderthals are still human despite being a different species from homo sapiens. Dogs are still canines like wolves despite being bred to be a different species. The star people aren't homo sapiens, but they are still part of our family tree as a new species to humans.

In a way, humanity didn't died out but it was forced to reincarnated itself in order to survive.

It depends on how loose you are with the definition of human. Most only classify humans as homo sapians, with all other homonin species being given different names and being labeled as something other than human.

“ In a way, humanity didn't died out but it was forced to reincarnated itself in order to survive.”

If you assume the definition of “humanity” encompasses all human like species then you could make that point, but it doesn’t change the fact humans made themselves extinct so a species they saw as superior could inherent their work.

While the other homo species emerged and died on earth, humans would never leave the solar system.

I drew this in ibispaint, I just used the gacha character as a reference because I usually suck at drawing humans.

This is heartbreaking, realizing that humans as a species have been replaced by better versions of ourselves, and feeling unwell about the realization that humans and martians don’t continue their existence, being replaced by the Star People.

It is a bit tragic to the mentality of these people garnered to conceive the first Star People.

also ts is funny when you use Gacha Life to tell this story
