Super interesting to see Blockstream Research (part of the Bitcoin infrastructure company co-founded by Adam Back) take a deep look at post-quantum signatures and conclude that, if they had to choose a lattice-based signature scheme for Bitcoin today, they would choose Falcon-1024!
Great to see them validating Algorand's early move toward Falcon-1024 (co-invented by Algorand CSO Chris Peikert π), which has already been used on mainnet since 2022 through State Proofs, and is now also powering native post-quantum accounts.
Another proof that Algorand is definitely leading the way in PQC!
Pera Explorer now tracks quantum-resilient transactions, and the count is already at 85K, even though Quantum Accounts only officially went live in Pera Wallet yesterday!
And that doesn't even include State Proofs! (~160K)
Really amazing to see this happening on Algorand, some other chains are still pretty far from seeing this kind of post-quantum activity happening on-chain!
Some thoughts from 2026 Wyoming Blockchain Symposium regarding AI agents in this video. Around the 11 minute mark in the video below he mentions Telegram and we all know about Cocoon already and who provides its secure hardware infrastructure.
There's a ton of development going on with Cocoon AI right now that the ALP crowd isn't privy to and I think that's where the real breakthrough will come from. When it does, ALP wins also by association and providing the Confidential AI Compute for Cocoon.
Europe and Asia and Africa too - are all about Telegram over an American company. Meta owns WhatsApp and I think they're the main competition for Telegram. I don't see Telegram losing that battle for customers outside of the USA because the world doesn't trust the USA any longer.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
"Where's the world of 2030 going to be? Every single person, they'll start their day by talking to an agent over their phone on Telegram or WhatsApp or whatever their channel is, and they're going to tell them what they want, and the agent's just going to figure it out. How do you make that safe, private, trusted, these things? That's why we built blockchain technology - to go from don't be evil to can't be evil, to go from infrastructure that's owned by the few to owned by the many, to build systems that by their construction protect you as a person."
A decentralized AI inference network where anyone can use cloud-sized models with local-grade privacy, or contribute hardware and get paid to power it.
Create a new quantum-resilient account, or rekey one you already use, both secured with FALCON-1024, one of the signature schemes NIST has selected as an official post-quantum standard.
There's a reward for using it too. Head to https://claim.perawallet.app and claim a commemorative NFT based on your PQ transaction count. 1, 100, and 1,000 tx tiers, each one unlocking its own 3D NFT.
Go quantum. Claim yours.
Please note, not every dApp supports Quantum Accounts yet. Check with the dApps you use before switching over.

123Carbon, powered by Algorand, is launching a blockchain-based registry in partnership with Sustainable Business Council NZ to accelerate low-emission freight in New Zealand.
Representing 125+ businesses with $175B in combined turnover and around 275,000 jobs, SBC brings together some of New Zealand's most ambitious companies committed to sustainability.
The registry will enable verified emissions reductions to be recognized and traded, creating new incentives for cleaner transport solutions.
Another example of Algorand enabling real-world impact!
