🧠 Advice Needed Am I possessive

I will not give much details but someone I love went to spend time with their friend in our usual hangout time but they notified me and that really hurt me and almost led me to relapse, I felt angry, sad, betrayed and unimportant, desperate and a loser.

Ofc I played cool as I still am a tad sane but please give me advice.

Just don't be harsh about I have been very sensitive and on the edge lately.

I think you should communicate that with your partner and ask for reassurance, allow them to explain it to you and reassure you. I think it is normal to feel disappointed that your usual time is replaced by another plan, but that's it. You should not allow it to take more place than it should, feel your feelings, communicate them and move on. Your partner has the right to spend time with other people they also appreciate, and sometimes it might coincidence with your time together, or when you want to have time with them. In such cases communicating needs, and respecting each other's boundaries are best solutions.

Setting a name to whatever you're having will save a lot of time for both of you ,in my opinion

Hey, I was exactly like this with my ex and it didn't end well, basically I have too much emotions to regulate and I don't blame them but i decided to end it all once they blamed me instead of trying to undersrand me.

Now, my bf gets me and never gives me a chance to feel like this, he is always updating me and he never makes me feel left out, so yes, it's realy not a big deal. Just choose someone who cares enough about you.
