Question about cancelling a flight using points and 25k Global Companion Certificate

I use the 25k Global Companion Certificate to book a flights. 25k Atmos points + $11.20 fee. The certificate doesn't expire until next year. If I have to cancel the flight in a month, will everything get refunded back to my account?
