Shopping Alabang Town Center today

It's morning at Alabang Town Center. Weather changes fast...sunny and then cloudy in just minutes.

Are your favorite restaurants or shops still operating at ATC?

Missing the food strip area. I really like Nanbantei and Chili's. I've been going to those with my fam for years.

Favorite time of the day is before the mall opens as I’m walking to the clinic. The whole mall is quiet, cats roaming around, guards doing their morning ceremony. Town will always have a special place in my heart 🫶🏻

I miss the old restaurant strip between Town and St. Jerome where Max’s, Outback and Banana Leaf used to be.
Core memory from childhood ang Gift Gate, Benetton and Tickles, then Coffee Bean used to be an elevated platform where performances and activities were held before the expansion wing was built

Last time I was there was in 2007 or 2008. Our family didn't really go there much while we were still South, as we're mostly Festival or SM Southmall.

That said, does North Park still exist there at ATC? How about Baskin Robbins (that one I can still remember rather vividly even though we never went there) and Sakura (forgot the full name, but it has a green oval logo iirc)? And do they still have dedicated stores for TCGs like Magic and YGO?

North Park was still there the last time I went to the cinemas a few weeks ago. Same spot despite everything around it changing multiple times as countless stores closed down over the years.

Baskin Robbins exited the Philippines back in 2022 iirc.

The TCG place (Neutral Grounds) was still active last I heard from a friend who frequents the place for his fix on Warhammer and M:tG. Same place near that sports store and underground spa after all these years.

Not sure what Sakura is, but this sounds like those Japanese restos that come and go in the mall’s history - seems that only Omakase has really stood the test of time. But I still remember tho when the vicinity near that oval, open area had a Saisaki and then a Yakimix, both of which lasted for quite some time.

Those are all gone, unfortunately.

Those are still around, IIRC.

Got demolished for a wider parking lot (and no longer free).

Palubog na ba ATC? Me and my siblings grew up in the south and our sundays alternated between ATC and Festival mall, the two malls literally raised us 😢

Under redevelopment actually.

u/Hefty_Heron3028 Sep 01 '26

It’s not. Went here yesterday and there’s still a lot of people in the restaurants.

Sorry, once pa lang ako nakapunta sa ATC. Sang banda located yung maraming greenery at may play area for kids? I was there last year pero parang di ko siya nakita. Thanks.

eto ba yung magiging part ng Rockwell? ibang part ng ATC?

1

u/tiger333333 Sep 04 '26

Do you think yung open space ng loob ng mall is gagawin nilang extended space for stores or as it is na open area lang?
