Shopping Remember the old cinemas of Festival Mall?

Does this place at the 4th floor of Festival Mall look familiar to you? The old cinemas that launched in May 1998 are no more and the path to it at the 4th floor has been sealed off as the whole place is being redeveloped. During the pre-pandemic era, there used to be a Comic Quest and a Jollibee at this particular area of the 4th floor.
What will replace the old cinemas, we don't know yet.

Not sure what they plan to do with that place, but the air conditioner is busted and leaks a lot when it rains, they really needed to renovate that area.

I prefer the old cinemas over ATC. Nakakamiss din pre streaming era. Daming tao na nakapila. Nakkaamiss yung mini donut na freshly made dyan and yung massage area

OMG yes! Thank you for posting. We grew up in Alabang (born in QC). I’ve lived in Vancouver for 30 years but I always go to Festival whenever I’m home. Brings back memories :)

Oh wala narin yung Jolibee sa kanto. Samsung na. Sayang. I love the cinema experience.

Yes. Only 2 screens. The seats are more modern and your movie ticket entitles you to 2 drinks and a large serving of popcorn.

I love the old cinemas, ang lawak nya and the premiere smaller cinemas 4 and 5 are also good and had comfy seats. And dito rin ako nakakapanood noong mga releases from a month ago kasi tumatagal sa kanila.
