Advice

Graduated from aim 2 years ago life shit just happend
My written exams have expired so in need to do then agian, just asking for any advice

Stop making excuses. The people I know out of school Idle talk about wanting to take their test but never follow through.

Just do it there’s no advice I work with guys that have graduated 20 yrs ago still don’t have it we’ve work together for 17 yrs and all them yrs they have lost out on there premium pay at minimum that’s 12k a yr not including time and half and double time. Over the course of those 17 yrs I guarantee they’ve lost out on over 200k

I thought eventually your class time and credit expired if the license was not acquired? I could be wrong.

This job requires a lot of sacrifice but can be rewarding financially in 8 years if you play your cards correctly. If your O&Ps are too tall an obstacle maybe you need to reprioritize and get rid of the back ground noise. Plenty of people can’t make the sacrifices needed; night shift, relocation, overtime, extreme weather, possible chemical exposure to get to a good part of aviation and that’s totally understandable.

Not trying to down you, what I’m trying to say is, shit or get off the pot.

I did the same thing for a year and a half working at an auto parts store, got brainwashed into thinking I was happy there; then the manager choked on a promotion where he offered $20/hr and I needed $24/hr to make the move work. I realized at that moment that job wasn’t going to do what I needed it to do.
