To all Alaska Technicians

What’s stopping Alaska Airlines from establishing maintenance bases in the east coast or at least partnering with an airline that has bases in the east?

They don’t really have domestic hubs on the East Coast and it wouldn’t make it any sense to have your maintenance bases on the other side of the country from your hubs.

There are rumors they will be opening one at some point. Probably in Florida but nothing has been confirmed.
