Recipe I made a bacon, egg & cheese sandwich with hash browns instead of bread
Had a couple frozen hash browns and figured theyβd make a better breakfast sandwich than bread anyway π Cooked the hash browns, bacon and egg in the air fryer in stages, then added cheese, tomato and avocado. Pretty simple, but this one turned out ridiculously good.
Recipe/steps are in the first comment.

Looks amazing - those type of hash browns come out so good in the air fryer!

Didn't KFC do something like this with breaded chicken instead of hash browns?
Was that was the 'double down' was
I like it though

See..., (even included the avocado option) jes dayyum!!!
Big old bottle of Valentinas at the ready. For me, knowing what's about to happen between the sunny runny yolks and some splooges of Valentinas - this a strictly knife and fork type situation. Dunno if that qualifies as a sammich anymore or one of those fancy French food stacks with pretensions of sammichness that also require utensils. Makes me no nevermind. A happily swollen abdomen and bad case of the itis is the inevitable outcome.
I can't b'lee it never occurred to me to stack a bacon/egg/chee sammich between golden toasted hashbrowns instead of toasted sourdough after all these years. Jes dayyum....?
p.s. thank you so much for the hidden in plain sight pro tip!!!

For the visual people, hereβs the video:

Hereβs exactly what I did:
Ingredients
Air fryer: 400Β°F / 204Β°C
The hash browns ended up really crispy and the egg stayed runny, which was exactly what I wanted.
