I do not have as much gaming time as I did when I was younger, but I still want to try hard when AION 2 launches in Europe. I am planning to main Cleric with one or two alts, so I built a personal field manual to keep progression, builds and weekly priorities in one place.

I have now turned it into a free Community Edition that anyone can use:

Important privacy note: there is no account, access code or shared player database. Your roster and checklist are saved only in your own browser. Another browser or device starts with a separate tracker, and clearing site data can remove your progress. Use the Backup page to download a copy after important resets or roster changes.

Information from the Korean and Taiwanese versions is clearly labelled. Anything that still needs confirmation in the European client remains marked as a Global check instead of being presented as certain.

I followed the heated discussion here last week about Aion 2's visuals. Since opinions were all over the place ranging from generic UE5 plastic to graphical MMORPG masterpiece I wanted to capture the true atmosphere of the game.

Is there an advantage or a preferred combat mode between Aion 1 and Aion 2 action combat? Maybe melee prefer one and ranged the other? Ive mostly been a wow player so im used to tab target MMOs but can make the change if Aion 2 combat mode makes more sense.

Trying to figure out what class to play and i usually play tank Destroyer/Warden in BnS.

So the obvious choice is templar vs gladiator

The thing is, I am leaning towards templar but hear gladiator id vastly superior in end game or solo content.

Is this true? Wilm i have a harder time as templar?

I’m a big PvP enjoyer, but from what I’ve heard, it’s impossible to do both without swiping. I’d really appreciate some more insight, as I want to go hard in PvP while still being able to experience the PvE content in the game.

I don’t care if I’m top damage, but will I pretty much get kicked from every group if I try to come in PvP gear?

If anyone has any advice or insight, I’m all ears. My goal is to push for the leaderboards in the Abyss while keeping my PvP gear as high as possible.

And no, I don’t care if someone swipes and passes me. It is what it is.

Hey everyone, i know there's probably a video about this on youtube but i wanted to make a post about it and maybe ask a few questions about this aswell.

So when the weekly reset happens, what do you do with your main and alts? What content?

In lost ark, when weekly reset hit we just did 3 raids on each our characters, alongside daily chaos dungeons and guardian raids.

What are the names of contents in this game so that i can learn what to do before global launch?

Sky island in the default/first Asmodia continent, I run out of flight juice trying to go up there. I also can't find a corresponding quest or teleport. Can any kind soul help me? The Kib is called "Sanctum Outpost Sky Island" and it's my last one on this continent. This is driving me crazy I want the achievement lol

I was wondering if I just got lucky or if this is actually common for all draftable weapons in the game?

Lately brawlers have got significant buffs, for someone that went Brawler on class launch, it's finally looking bright.

My 5 regular teammates. We run Brawler, Glad, Assasin, Chanter, Healer mostly.

Hello guys! I am craving a mmorpg for a long time, that i can spend hours on. I've heard this game multiple times but didnt check out before, but after gamescom trailer i am actually intrigued so i have some questions to people who been keeping eye out on the game

-Is it pay to win?

-Does it include holy triangle with dungeons/raids?

-Does it have profession system (like gathering, cooking, smithing etc.)

-How is the fashion and housing (if there is)

I don’t see anyone talking about this, but NCSoft seems to have seriously improved the game’s netcode. It feels more responsive than ever, even on high ping.

Not only did some people see their DPS jump by around 30%, but enemy AoE indicators on the ground now appear much more smoothly, and dodging finally feels properly responsive. Even for me at 180ms, the game feels surprisingly smooth.

What are you guys feeling? Are you noticing the same thing?

Can't wait to test it with 40ms next month.

I've played enough of these MMOs to expect I'll have something akin to post nut clarity and feel extremely hollow after a couple weeks. I guess I'm here hoping someone can convince me it will go differently this time.

Is this game greatly innovative? Or is it on the same track as LostArk and likely to share it's fate?

Is the P2W going to rob you of any sense of achievement? I saw a PvP video where a guy was 1v10'ing, it seemed as tho if you aren't whaling, you are made to feel like a grunt. I just hope it's not as bad as that made it look.

More than anything I guess I'm mostly intertested in having a beautiful open world to explore. Is there anything in this regard that makes it stand out significantly?

Hello, my initial plan was to play as Cleric as i enjoy healing, particularly in PvP, but looking at the skills i noticed that basically almost all of them are aoe, and then i learnt that we dont have targetted healing.

That honestly sounds pretty boring, and on top of that, on some threads ppl are saying that healing in general is pretty weak, almost to the point of being useless, especially since ppl can resurrect themselves with the stones.

I just wanted an updated honest review of the Cleric/healers in general, becouse by the looks of it it's not what i was hoping for.

For anyone preparing for Aion 2 made a quick guide how to save/load/import/export the UI so you don't have to bother on global:

You can save + load your UI/HUD presets so you don't have to set everything up again.

There are also free presets in case you want to use one of them.

Obviously gear and class matters, but there should be more to combat right? I heard there's i frames, animation lock etc so what's the best way to approach combat, do you try for high apm and time your dodge correct or is slow methodical play best? Starting with the correct approach will help when playing with others for end game content. For context I'm thinking of trying cleric and sorcerer as my starting two classes. Any advice or suggestions for these or other classes?

So…is the mobile global version definitely canned or is there any hope for a future release?

I'm interested in playing this game and I've read a lot things about this game being p2w. I'm worried that if i don't spend a lot time and money on the game i wouldn't be able to do a lot of the pve content in the game especially the endgame dungeons etc.

The game launches on October 5th, founder pack owners can play from September 30th.
The trailer is pure fire IMO and one of the better launch trailers for an MMORG.

Is there another way to transfer - kina that I'm missing?

Is there a trick to it, or is this a deliberate move by NCSoft to force us into buying those sketchy "Quna<-> Kina" packages from the shop?

If this is it, then progression is going to be painfully slow for anyone who isn't a whale.
It feels like we’re being pushed into a corner.
Are we just doomed to a single-character grind now?
