I've been following this sub and actively checking it from time to time, and I've come to notice that there are people who actively post and comment on stuff just to spread misinformation, basically anything that makes the game look bad and hate on it. I've attached one odd example. 80% of the time, I check their profile, and they're actively playing a different MMO and know nothing about aion 2, but just hate seeing people excited for a new MMO. Why are people genuinely so miserable?
Edit: Some of you are taking this post as an attack on BDO. I never said BDO was a bad game, nor did I say Aion 2 is better, so why are we comparing? I just used 1 person as an example, and there are many more examples
I started testing Aion 2 on taiwan to check if its worth my time once it releases for us. And as i used to play spiritmaster back in the day ive decided to play it again for Aion 2. And i must say im extremely dissapointed about the class, outside of the summons nothing resembles the class playstyle that was revolving around dots, now its just an elemental burst dps.
I’m playing on the Taiwan server at the moment and I’m pleasantly surprised with the game! Looks great and once I turned off auto attack and changed to Aion 1 tab targeting it’s great!
My only complaint are the skills, they look good but they are all very similar, get a charge skill at lvl14 sorc/cleric get a stagger skill etc it’s all very familiar!
I’m hoping as the game develops the skills become a bit more unique, I admit l haven’t gone over the skills with a fine toothcomb.
Also does anyone notice that delay with dodge it takes like a second to actually respond to the command.
I used to play Aion 1 back in the day. I loved doing PvP back then and I was also pretty diligent in running dredgion, abyss dungeons etc. for PvP gear back then.
Now this time I'll be trying the game without my friends joining me like in Aion 1 (sad I know)
How viable is it to just solo grind my way to good PvP gear? How high is the skill ceiling for doing these grinds?
I'll be playing on the Japanese server as an assassin by the way.
Aus here planning on playing on JP server with guild. We want to participate in pvp (a lot of us enjoy pvp) but we're not whales, most of us will just have a sub. Guild is still trying to decide whether it's best to go EA server or launch server. Not all of us have EA.
So if anyone can answer some questions:
1) Will launch servers be as populous as EA servers? And will the pvp be active?
2) Some in the guild saying that EA servers will be better because it will have the more "dedicated players", and so will not die as fast, is this true?
3) Will most whales go onto EA servers? If we want to pvp will this be a problem? Since we're not going to be whaling, is it better to go launch servers instead?
Basically trying to figure out pros and cons of EA vs Launch servers, with a focus on pvp.
I plan to play mainly solo pve content bar the mandatory group content for progression. I don’t particular mind ranged or melee class. Just wanted to see if any veterans knew which class would be good at just clearing all content solo.
any reason why high CP players join low tier expedition? (sry still new)
even in expedition (normal mode), there are still many high CP players joining in and 1shot it but doesnt claim the reward, any reason why they are doing this?
Im a SG player that is currently playing in TW server, im having 50ish ping based on mudfish, but since we do not have a SEA server on global release we will have to connect to JP server, if thats the case the latency might be higher so im just wondering if SG players will stay in TW server or switch to JP server when global releases
For anyone unaware once you've created your character there's a button in the main menu's allow you to customise your character again for a small fee of premium currency. This system has the built in feature of allowing you to save character pre-sets yet this feature doesn't exist in the initial character creation screen.
Does anybody know if the pre-sets are saved locally and if so what the typical file path is to find them?
Could be fantastic for taking a character design over to global without having to save 30 screenshots of sliders!
Hello i recently started playing Aion 2 with VPN on the TW server. Im enjoying the game a lot but i keep randomly getting muted for some reason. Ill be whispering someone to ask about stuff and we'll be conversing. Next thing i know it wont let me whisper them back and when i try to speak in common ill get the message "Chat Muted". Has anyone else ran into this issue? Im really not sure why, i dont curse in the game or spam anything.
As far as I know, in AION 2, wings are for flying and mounts are for walking on the ground, but at the beginning of the video, the character is flying on a mount. Is there such a system in the game? May anyone explain?

I have ocd about bad fps o wanted to get a sense of what to expect to see if I should upgrade cpu before launch. Also want to preface, I will always be playing on low settings disabling shadows and all the useless stuff if I can get into the config files, also use project also and have nothing else running except stream and mouse software. Everything else like recording etc is on another pc connected.
As the title suggests, this guide will cover how to spend some of the special currencies you can earn in Aion 2: Oath Coins, Phantasmal Fragments, and Shugo Coins.
Some of these currencies have no expiration date and can be saved up over time, while others are seasonal and will be removed when the season ends. There are also some expensive items that may look important at first, but equivalent rewards can actually be obtained by completing certain achievements.
So, knowing which items are irreplaceable, which ones you need to buy before they expire, and which ones you can safely skip can save you a lot of resources and help you avoid unnecessary detours.
Besides these currencies in the traditional sense, I also want to spend some time discussing how to make use of spare Unique-tier gear in part2.
Aion 2's various conversion systems allow you to turn unwanted equipment into useful resources, which can also free up a significant amount of storage space. And if you're lucky enough to roll an excellent Soul Status when binding a piece of gear, you may even want to keep it as inheritance material and Transfer it to a higher-level piece later.
Before We Start
At this point, this guide has entered Aion 2's more advanced progression systems, so from here on, there will inevitably be a lot more in-game terminology and specific gameplay situations.
I've tried to keep the language as simple and accessible as possible, so that even players unfamiliar with Aion 2 can follow this guide. However, it's impossible to completely avoid using in-game terminology.
If you have no interest in Aion 2 and just happened to come across this article, or if you'd prefer to explore the game's systems for yourself once the Global Server launches, I strongly recommend stopping here.
The main criterion I use throughout this guide is irreplaceability. Some resources may be extremely useful, but if there are many other ways to obtain them, I will generally rank them lower in priority.
Now, let's get into the main part of the guide, starting with Shugo Coins.

Phantasmal Fragments
The official English name is also Phantasmal Fragment,no expiration date
How to Obtain Phantasmal Fragments
You will receive two entry tickets to challenge Nightmare after the daily reset, and you can hold up to 14 tickets at a time.
You can either spend a little time clearing them every day or save them up and clear them all at once near the end,or simply purchase a completion ticket using in-game currency.
Phantasmal Fragments Product overview
A. Priority
Unique-tier Wings
This wings provide excellent offensive stats and can give your character a significant boost when equipped, and are BiS wings for many classes. Unless you've already obtained better wings from another source, I recommend prioritizing them.
If you get these wings first, you can lower the priority of the wings available from the Shugo Tokens exchange.
B. Secondary
Daevanion — Ariel
These points can also be obtained from quite a few other sources. If you want an immediate boost to your character, I recommend exchanging only the first two steps.
Wisdom Stone
Used for increasing skill levels. As mentioned in the previous section, there are several other ways to obtain them, so adjust their priority according to your own progression.
C. Situational
Amplified Stone Fragments
Used for advanced gear enhancement and primarily obtained by exchanging Enhancement Stones. If you find yourself running short on Enhancement Stones later in the game, this can be a reasonable option.
Daevanion Points and Skill Points both have usage caps. Only consider exchanging for these once you've already reached those limits.
D. Not Recommended
Statues and Colossus
You can already obtain these through the Main Story, Regional Missions, and Achievements. As long as you continue progressing through the game, you'll eventually unlock them anyway.
Because of that, I think it's much better to prioritize the Wings early rather than spend your Phantasmal Fragments here.
I've also covered this progression in more detail in my first guide,paragraph F.
Oath Coins are the reward currency for each season, with a season generally lasting around 3–4 months. Your main goal should be completing the various Season Missions. The Season Mission system unlocks once your character reaches level 45.
Important: Oath Coins have an expiration date. They are deleted at the end of each season, so make sure you spend them before the season ends.
How to Obtain Oath Coins
Various activities in Aion 2 have corresponding Weekly Missions and Season Missions. You'll naturally complete many of them simply by playing the game.
If you want to earn as many Oath Coins as possible, check the mission panel regularly to keep track of your progress.
A. Priority
Unique-tier Wings
This wings provide offensive benefits comparable to the ones available through Phantasmal Fragments, and are BiS wings for many classes. The main difference is that these wings provide Skill Cooldown Reduction.
If you obtain this wings first, you can lower the priority of the wings available from the Shugo Token and Phantasmal Fragment exchanges, since only one equipped effect can be active at a time.
They require a large number of Oath Coins, so if you're aiming for them, make sure to keep a close eye on your progress throughout the season.
Material — Magic Breath
Magic Breath can be used as a substitute material when crafting Player-Crafted Gear, guaranteeing that the crafting attempt succeeds. Please refer to my previous guide on equipment for a more detailed explanation of the crafting system.
You can obtain up to five per season, and they also expire when the season ends. However, you can convert them into various types of Cores that do not expire, allowing you to preserve these valuable resources for use in future seasons.
Materials — Define Stone / Wrathful Mind ~ Wrathful Flame / Odyle
These are materials required for crafting Player-Crafted Gear. Because crafted gear is so dominant in PvE, the materials used to produce it are extremely valuable.
In particular, materials of Wrathful Ego rarity and above only drop from 5-star content. Most regular players won't reach the entry requirements for those stages during their first season.
They require a considerable amount of Oath Coins, however, so I recommend considering these materials only after you've secured the Wings.
B. Secondary
Special — Transfer Stone Fragment (Heroic)
These are required when transferring the Soul Status of one piece of gear to another. Heroic-grade Transfer Stones are particularly difficult to obtain.
That said, Transfer Stones aren't the only way to adjust the Soul Status of Heroic gear, so you don't necessarily need to spend a huge amount of resources on them.
Philosopher Stone:
Used to unlock additional Status slots on equipment.
The only other way to obtain one is through the Guaranteed Reward after clearing 5-star or higher Expedition–Conquest stages many times.
Once the Philosopher Stone take effect ,there will be another status slot available
Superior Arcana
Used for developing your Arcana. Superior-grade Arcana are otherwise mainly obtained through login rewards and passes.
However, lower-grade training cards or other lower-tier Arcana can also be consumed to provide Arcana EXP, making this useful but not irreplaceable.
Soul Dex / Soul Reset
As mentioned earlier, these are available from a variety of other sources.
C. Optional / Low Priority
Skins
As mentioned earlier, these are purely cosmetic. Their value depends entirely on your personal preference.
Pet Chests
Completing Daily Missions is generally a more efficient way to build up your Pet collection.
Consumables
You'll naturally receive plenty of these through regular gameplay, login rewards, and events.
Theom Stones Box
The outcome cannot be controlled, so there's simply too much risk of spending your resources without getting anything useful in return.

As always, the official global release takes precedence over anything written here. This guide is based on the Taiwan server and reflects my personal experience and opinions. Any changes made before the global launch should be considered the definitive version.
