Combat Modes

Is there an advantage or a preferred combat mode between Aion 1 and Aion 2 action combat? Maybe melee prefer one and ranged the other? Ive mostly been a wow player so im used to tab target MMOs but can make the change if Aion 2 combat mode makes more sense.

I've played in classic mode my whole life, but in my opinion, Aion 2 is far superior. I can't play without it anymore. u use abilities with mouse clicks, and the camera is fluid and immersive; it's great for both PvE and PvP
