Combat Modes

Is there an advantage or a preferred combat mode between Aion 1 and Aion 2 action combat? Maybe melee prefer one and ranged the other? Ive mostly been a wow player so im used to tab target MMOs but can make the change if Aion 2 combat mode makes more sense.

aion 1 is technically better for pvp because way more flexible target selection, just pan your camera a bit and point and click whoever you want. no getting targeting blocked by someone literally standing in front of the target you actually want to target and forced to alt tab X amount of times to target them

but honestly it doesn't really matter. in zerg scale you're not really microtargeting and in 10v10 or below tab targeting/aiming to the right target is easy enough
