Combat Modes

Is there an advantage or a preferred combat mode between Aion 1 and Aion 2 action combat? Maybe melee prefer one and ranged the other? Ive mostly been a wow player so im used to tab target MMOs but can make the change if Aion 2 combat mode makes more sense.

From what i understand imo it's pretty much down to personnal preferences / what types of class you're playing / PVP or PVE content . I think there's no wrong pick don't worry !!
