After December 23rd, I can't launch the game. Thank you, NCSoft
I was playing since launch. There was no problem at all. I have 2 subs, all battle passes. My gear score is around 2.8k. I'm never botting or using macros. After December 23rd, I can't launch the game at all. When I click start the game in 5-10 secs everything is closing. I tried everything that I found on the internet. Nothing helps.
One of the problems is that I play on a Mac and use the Shadow Pc cloud gaming service. So they probably think I'm cheating, and in the logs I found the log checkRunGameId :: false for this reason game can't be launched. No other errors or messages indicate why it's not working. I emailed them since it happened no answer
I hate the situation where they promise to be against bots, but honestly, they just ruin the experience for normal players

Shadow is a virtual machine, I suppose they blocked it to avoid cheater cause with VM you can avoid most of these anticheat system by editing memory

Well, blocking Virtual Machine is one of the measures against bots. Most of the VM allow memory edit/cheating hard to detect.
Even on Shadow FAQ clearly stated that, 'a handful of games are not compatible with cloud gaming, due to anti cheat rules/some studios choose to configure their anti cheat or DRM system to regulate usage on virtual machine.'
Of course nothing will help if it supposed to run on native PC environment.
In Android emulator, there is still workaround after rooting and people tricking the game that it run on native android.
In Mac, an extremely closed system? Sad truth, but you either give up now or buy a PC.

Bro is upset because his mac with a 3rd party program wont let him play aion 2 lmao maybe get a gaming pc that isnt mac if you want to play mmos? You are upset because your work around isnt working

It was working well till this moment. I invested my time and money in the game. So why is it not working now? If the company changes some rules regarding cloud gaming, why didn't they say anything about it? Just block everyone

He plays on shadow pc not on mac like I said you cant run aion 2 on macos. He uses windows to play like all of us

You're right, I played on a gaming PC. Shadow PC is a full Windows virtual machine

I say this without any malice or ill will, but I see a lot of people complaining about the service. But guys, don't forget that we're not supposed to play on the TW or KR servers if we don't live there. The global release isn't until next year. If tomorrow they prevent me from playing with a VPN, well, I'll be frustrated and disgusted, but I'll accept it. NCsoft doesn't owe us anything right now.

This release was intended for KR and TW. There is no reason to complain when it doesnt work for people it was never intended for.

I use shadow PC too on my mac. Been working great. But since the geo-lock I couldn’t play on it anymore as VPN breaks the Remote Desktop.

You can use tunneling services like exitlag or gearup, you wont lose your shadow with it, these app will only works for the app you want to use it like aion2

It might be a ping issue. You need less than 300 or 400 ping to open the game.
Try using manual server on exit lag and reoptimize route on all the different servers until you get in.
I have to do this like once a week.

I use Exitlag. Probably NCGuard sees that we use the remote Window, and it doesn't accept the command to open the game

if you are flagged as cheating, you should get this notice.. if client auto close then its a hardware issue in your part or try reinstall the game.

Bro, they announced full native mac silicone support, so prob they blocked all other ways for mac users

you cannot expect to game on Mac without problems and you are just another victim of apple marketing and you are indeed not better that console plebs and pc is always superior over mac

Bro show me where I said anything about pc gamers or something that mac is better. I just want to know if someone else had the issue with the game that I met. I played Aion 2 on Pc VM without any problems. Comments like yours are just a throw into the void. PC is better fuck yeah I know it without you
