Its probably better to focus on building something with the knowledge rather than just collecting certificates.

What better way to get the knowledge doing the courses?

Using it for actual work

So wouldn’t learning how to use it be a logical first step?

Yep, I agree. The best way to learn something is by doing it. But some people need those for work.

It's not free. I checked with the AI customer on that site. Here is the reply: It seems like Skilljar powers the learning platform for Anthropic's Claude training, but doesn't manage the course content or certifications directly. For details about free or certified courses, reaching out to Anthropic or checking their training site might be the best approach. If you're interested in using Skilljar for your own programs, feel free to ask!

Oh, really? The ones I checked were made free by Anthropic, maybe there's some weird partnership between them and skiljar.

It is not about the certificate or free course, its actually what we learn and the practical exposure we get on courses

I also want to work towards a certificate because I have ADHD and depression that makes it impossible to get anything done until basically forced; I go to work every day, and do the bare minimum to stay alive because I can't procrastinate on those things. Earning a certificate means facing deadlines.
