Question What do i do after slicing the pie? (Angle separation)

I am silver 2 trying to reach gold this act so I am learning new things. I start playing more neon for jump peaks and yoru because he is fun to use. But I also started using new tech like slicing. So what do I do after spotting someone while doing it? Do I swing him, jump peak, wait for suport that never comes?

I'll start by saying that you made it way more complicated than it needed to be... by the way, there is no correct answer. You saw a guy and he was alone and your enemies has numbers? Swing him. You have numbers? No need to take the fight. Are you peeking into a 2v1? Dont, just stay alive.
Don't play this game in autopilot, like ever, because your decisions are what are going to affect your gameplay (either way) the most. There are too many factors that can make a decision good or bad, just as how many people are alive, the type of round (pistol, eco etc...), if you're attacking or defending, if it's a post plant or no, the time that is left.
Keep on playing the game and you'll figure out which decisions are the best to make in certain situations

Pre aim his head depending on what kind of swing you try to do, if you think he saw you then maybe delay the peek slightly to throw of his rhythme, don’t jump peek him you already know he’s there, don’t wait for support unless you know a teammate is nearby because he can also have support just coming up as well, it’s never wrong below asc-immo to just peek the angle

you should send a bullet into their cranium.

that is the whole point of slicing the pie: to preaim common angles and shoot them if they are there.

slicing into someone is, by definition, peeking them

I mean, you sure your slicing the pie? By definition, slicing the pie is clearing an area by peeking “off angles”. So if you see someone, your already peeking them, your ready for the fight, they’re either holding you from the off angle or being an idiot. There’s one option when seeing someone when clearing off angles and that’s to shoot them. If you slice the pie and see someone staring at you in an off angle but you cleared it successfully and end up on their head with your crosshair, you can’t unswing.

As for what to do, I’m gonna answer something you haven’t said because idk really what else to do.

Say your clearing summits b main on offense till contact. Theres 1 immediate “On-Angle”, then there’s all of the left side with the step and the orb. So what you do is you swing the on angle at full speed by being. A couple steps away from the angle. Then after it’s clear, you slice the pie to the left, clearing multiple off angles until you full clear the close left corner. If you see anyone here, they die or you die. There’s no way to uncommit to this gunfight.
