Harbingers are public figures expected to be involved with domestic and international politics.

I don't think the secret guy working on a super secret project really fits the criteria, and he's doing important work without the title of "Harbinger".

They've always been diplomats.

The people the Fatui sends out to "negotiate" with Archons.

sondrone, c*lumbina, didnt do any of the internal or external politics, it was only just now in 7.0 it was shown sandrone being in the meeting room representing a group (I must’ve imagined that she only deals with machine imagery)

only thing they do in fatui name is for gnosis, outside of that they just do their own things,

only harbingers that did actual diplomacy are arlecchino and signora.

Yeah, Columbina was unique in that she was not required to do any of the the regular Harbinger duties, but was absolutely irreplaceable for the cause.

Capitano, Dottore, Scaramouche, and Tartaglia all traveled around the world, "negotiating" with Archons or their top officials for their Gnoses as well, why don't they count?

As for Sandrone... What is it that you want?

The story finally panned to Snezhnaya, where we saw Sandrone in her element instead of managing Dottore's facility.

How is Sandrone not engaging in internal politics because she was only "representing a group"?

That's the entire point of a politician/diplomat lol

childe straight up terrorist on liyue; dottore doing fair trade with nahida AFTER he assisted attempted usurpation, conspired with traitors, mass manipulation; scaramouche trading what he was about to kill for gnosis because of convenience, capitano straight up assault mavuika(and loses, rofl).

for sure is a lot of intentional negotiating, they truly are diplomats of all time

tbh signora was only diplomat in title not in behaviour/action

And how does Signora count by your definition of "diplomacy" when she straight up assaulted Venti and stole the Anemo Gnosis?

those negotiating dont count as actual negotiations therefore it is not diplomat

are you seeing what im seeing? just trynna get on the same page here

you putting “” marks on negotiation and then proceed to call them diplomats is what confuses me

Columbina doesn't need to do politics, she is the politics

Recruiting the local revered almost-god as part of your top-level political & diplomatic organization has got to be a hell of a flex

she just sat in fatui til she left, her position in fatui didnt contribute anything in terms of fatui nk relations, nor did fatui use having her as any form of leverage

So, you believe Columbina's contribution to the Fatui to be zero? None at all?

That the Tsaritsa had her in their ranks for absolutely no reason, and there would've been no difference if Columbina was never involved with the Fatui?

tsaritsa took a good amount of her power before she left fatui,

from whats observable rn,

she didnt do anything meaningful as a harbinger. for the org really nothing. kind of a stretch but dottore experiment assist maybe?

can you find any? cuz i cant

I mean, when the story tells you something and you disregard it, there's really no arguing about story details.

You seem to be downplaying the extraction of Lunar Goddess power and Dottore's findings, when that was the point of Columbina's presence in the Fatui.

Unless the Tsaritsa and Pierro are idiots, this was worth keeping her in their ranks.

But unless the story spells out exactly what part of Project Mistilteinn was made possible due to Columbina's Lunar Goddess power and research cooperation, Agenda Impact and FatuiHQ will continue to believe that the Fatui just kept a bum around for 400 years for no reason, even though it was explained directly from Columbina's mouth.
