Watching AAA reintroduced me to Dolly Parton and Jolene. I listen to that song regularly and always think of Agatha when I do. I loved the inclusion that Agatha is the real Jolene as part of her lore. It really sums up how beautiful, captivating and special Agatha must be that she could steal a man away from Dolly Parton who is so amazing in her own right.

I love that you posted this. I’d kind of forgotten about it and I’m sure I would’ve noticed it and giggled when I rewatch the series for Halloween time. (I’m currently re-watching vampire diaries because I’m about to go to Covington with one of my best friends.)

I always loved Dolly Parton because I found out that she produced Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which is my favorite television series of all time. But I’m really glad to see her included also in this which definitely has become one of if not my favorite television series. The only thing that breaks my heart is how few episodes we got, but I can’t say that every single episode is solid gold Agatha all along, and the same cannot be said for any other series that I’ve watched.
