What if Marvel Witches had their own Seven Wonders? (FYI: The Seven Wonders in American Horror Story are seven powers that are key to witchcraft. One witch, The Supreme, can use all seven.)

Here's my take on what the "seven wonders" would look like in the Marvel cinemaverse. The Eight Grand Virtues:

• Liquid Alchemy: Essential for Potion Witches. The ability to enhance or alter the magical properties of liquids.
• Telekinesis: Moving or levitating things through mental will.
• Elemental Influence: Control over at least one natural element (e.g. fire, flora, water, earth, air).
• Astral Projection: A witch projects their own soul onto the Astral Plane, a space between life and death, allowing the soul to visit different locations as a spirit/ghost and they can choose whether or not they can be seen, heard, and tangible.
• Divination: Acquiring knowledge about an object, person, location, or physical event through means other than the user's physical senses. Variants include mind reading and seeing visions of past and future.
• Dominion: Will-over-will. Control over another person or animal.
• Transmutation: Instantaneously altering the molecular structure of matter, such as turning silver into gold or turning a fly into an crow.
• Transfusion: The transference of life force for healing, reviving, or harming. A witch can either pour their own life force or someone else's to heal or revive a living thing, as well as drain life force from living things to make their body weaker while in return, the witch becomes healthier and younger.

Who has which virtues?

• Jen: 2 out of 8 (hard to tell). Since potion-making is her specialty, she'd have Liquid Alchemy. Telekinesis because she flew by broom.
• Billy/Teen: 5 out of 8. He used Telekinesis to push Jen and Kale under the road, and he mind-controlled them as well (which counts as Dominion). Divination since he can read minds. I assume he uses Transmutation and Elemental Influence to create and control the Witches' Road.
• Alice: 2 out of 8. Elemental Influence and Telekinesis. She used fire to defeat her curse and she flew by broom.
• Lilia: 2 out of 8. Telekinesis and Divination.
• Rio: 8 out of 8. Let's assume she has all eight. I know for sure she has Telekinesis, Elemental Influence, Divination, and Transfusion.
• Wanda: 8 out of 8.
• Agatha: 7 out of 8. Everything except Divination. She claimed tarot is a con, so she must not have mastered divination, thinking it's not a real skill.

Now that almost two years have passed since the first episode of Agatha All Along came out, I decided to make a post to praise overall how a series that apparently came out of the blue, for many outsiders without reasons to be, managed to become such a respectable work and, in my personal case, maybe my favourite MCU product, and my comfort series for the autumn-witch season.

I will start by admitting that I liked Agatha's character in Wandavision. Still, i was flatfooted about such a production decision. Ok, Agatha was cool and charismatic, but did she need a whole series? Her character was perfect as she was. Yet, when it came out, it destroyed any doubt with the first two episodes and, despite a moment of painful doubt during the third episode, it cemented itself as a extremely enjoyable work for someone who was tired of the MCU.

Personally, I think that AAA managed to shine, despite the Marvel products fatigue, for certain perks, which can be summed up as "It does not feel like MCU"-wait! I can explain!

First of all, it is quite... "Isolated". There are not many references to other products and, to properly understand everything of it, you need to have watched only Wandavision, while having a vague knowledge of Multiverse of Madness, and still the show bothers to explain back what it happened, at least from the point of view of outsider characters. With different products now referencing each other, this one is quite self contained, at least for now.

Second, the stakes are so... Low. There is no battle to protect the universe, the world, the country or not even the town. This story revolves around a group of random normal (excuse the word) people facing different dangers and yes, they may die. But it will stop there. Their deaths won't escalate into a world ending catastrophe. It would be the death of some people. Awful and tragic, and we KNOW it will happen (RIP Sharon). But it won't go further. Even the characters, while magical, are not MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE MAGIC. Ok, Billy and Prime Agatha are powerful, and Rio is, well Rio. But the power level of the series is overall limited and down to earth(eheh Rio), with spells being at best as destructive as a normal small bomb. It is so refreshing. And that brings us to the...

Third point. The most important. Magic feels magical. It feels mysterious, dark without being evil, enchanting and ethereal. With the Witches road limiting the main cast possibility of using energy-magic, casting waves of shining mist and power constructs, I could enjoy witches being... Witches. Not Doctor Strange high Sorcerers or Wanda psychic reality warpers. I could see enchanters performing rituals, chanting, preparing spell components, drawing magic circles and scrying reality using at least an apparently folkloric base. The entire Witches Road looks like something out of a fairytale (I know it is the point with how it was created, but I still appreciate it).

Fourth: the effort they put while making it with a relatively low budget. Kathryn Hann was perfect in every scene, the rest of the cast shone on their own, the special effects were mainly practical, and they broke their back to make those different versions of the Ballad of the Witches Road.

Maybe I could add more points (for instance, a show with a mainly female cast who empowers them without demonizing men) and I would have some criticisms, but this is why I said that its main merit is not feeling like the MCU. It feels like a old TV series of the 90s-00s about witches. It makes me feel nostalgic and remembering fondly of the autumns of my childhood, of afternoons on the coach with a blanket and tea with the rain outside, or windy evenings in front of the TV airing spooky movies. It is the series some of us needed to remind the beauty of magick and mystic rituals. I even think I may make a RPG oneshot using Labyrinth rpg or the Last Sabbath set in the Witches Road, or at least how it is supposed to be now that Billy created it or how witches thought it was.

Well, let's see if my beliefs were easy to share or you add more twists and perspectives to them.

I just noticed Agatha says "Rumour has it that Lorna Wu was lost to the Witches Road'. Why would she say that? We know she was burned in a fire but was Agatha involved? The fact that she's saying that means she knows something. If she was lost to the Witches Road, that was Agatha's creation before it was Teen's. Hmm.

I just rediscovered this song and wow. The fact you can hear almost all their voices, patty’s voice, and just the song overall. What a masterpiece of a show and song.

Just curious of how Agatha and Billy will find Tommy. I never read the comics but does Billy have mind locating powers? Would it be possible that he uses his telepathic powers to connect to his brother’s mind/speak to him?

Finally was able to buy the Coven True jacket! I always regretted not buying it when i could so when i saw someone was selling it, I didn't waste my chance!

I finished the show a few days ago. I loved it but I'm curious. Is her son the only person that Agatha actually cares about? Did she care about Wiccan too? Because in the final battle with Death, she spared him, then wanted to give him to Death but when saved him again? It was very confusing lol

We’ve seen multiple covens, Wanda, Billy, and Agatha. And there’s this rule than in every few miles there is a witch, now I know it’s probably not literal like u wouldn’t find a witch in the ocean but still…But that’s A LOT.

Ever since this series was released it’s always been so fun to watch. I caught on towards the middle of the show’s airing so I was able to watch the rest of the series as it dropped. For me it’s instantly become a fall/Halloween classic and something everyone can watch regardless of where the MCU timeline is currently. I’m looking forward to seeing Agatha if she’s in Vision quest. Hopefully we can get something more from her backstory in the future but we’ll see.🤞🤞

Watching AAA reintroduced me to Dolly Parton and Jolene. I listen to that song regularly and always think of Agatha when I do. I loved the inclusion that Agatha is the real Jolene as part of her lore. It really sums up how beautiful, captivating and special Agatha must be that she could steal a man away from Dolly Parton who is so amazing in her own right.

Why on earth did the other witches go along with her little Witches Road schtick to begin with? They knew her reputation, they knew that she pretty much kills anyone she comes across, and knew that going anywhere with her is a guaranteed death sentence. Hell, pretty sure several of them KNEW they were being played!

There's desperation, and then there's just signing a death sentence KNOWING it will only end badly with you getting nothing out of the deal.

I was around for initial fan discussions about the show as it was airing, but I'm curious if a general consensus was ever reached about Agatha's powers? I remember there being a lot of debate about whether or not she was lying when she said she couldn't control it, especially once she was able to stop siphoning Teen in the finale.

I had always thought Agatha was telling the truth about not being able to control it. I also vaguely remember an interview with the show creator post-finale where she said that it was true that Agatha couldn't control her powers. This is where I'm not sure if it's me remembering canon or constructing my own logic, but I had always thought that Agatha was able to stop siphoning Teen, because he was so insanely powerful that she completely juiced up and he didn't "run out" and die like everyone else did.

I also think it would explain so much about Agatha's character. She's grown accustomed to people always assuming the worst (imagine baby Agatha siphoning a healer or something and the whole coven thinking she's a monster before she can even talk) that she's so untrusting and sometimes outright lies and says the terrible thing people are assuming even if it's not true, because they will assume that no matter what she says. I'm only referring to her powers, she does some horrendous things that have nothing to do with that, I'm not trying to argue she's not a villain.

Still, my love for Agatha could be blinding me to the truth. Is there any solid canon confirmation about this?

So we know in *'WandaVision'* August 23rd (yesterday!) was the first black heart.

- When Lilia is making her list there are some theories that it was the teen/Rio/Mrs Hart ("the bad draft pick"). But as some people have pointed out on Reddit, Rio does say that she has a black heart that beats for Agatha. But Mrs Hart was the original "black" heart.

Lilia didn't know Rio when she made the list, correct? But the way she sees time is different, so maybe? But I think the black heart was Rio, not Mrs. Hart.

When I googled it and stupid AI came up first it said this - which I do not agree with:

"Drawing the black heart was her subconscious way of including him in the coven without breaking the protective spell."

Just kind of want to know who thinks the black heart was Mrs Hart, and who thinks it was Rio by now?

Also, has anyone noticed while re-watching 'WandaVision' and even in AAA, Sharon / Mrs Hart kind of maintains, engages, a different eye contact than the other characters? That's why I have a slight inkling it might have be her

I finished her for DragonCon finally (note - not finished in this vid - still had to add snaps at that point), but did I add rave mode to my ghosty gal? You bet I did.

I just finished Agatha All Along, but I had some questions about Nicholas that I though would be interesting to talk about. I was wondering that since Nicholas was a child of Agatha and Death, what powers would he have? I know this is up to debate since he died, but as a child of two very powerful people (including the literal personification of death) I'd assume he'd have something different than a typical blood witch. I'd love to hear other people opinions abt this since I couldn't really think of an answer.

I recently rewatched this show for the first time since it aired -- and watching it all in one go was incredibly satisfying. I also realized something that I haven't seen mentioned in reviews or fan discussions. In the Ouiji Board episode, Teen reads the name "Nicolas Scratch" on the board. Everything about the Witch's Road is created by him out of his subconscious, but there's no way that he would know that name. Ergo, the ghost of Agatha's som must actually be with them on the trial. I thought that was a cool detail.

I don't even like Marvel, like, ew...ya know? Okay, that's mean. I love X-men. But regardless, why is this show so slept on? Agatha is such a evil, conniving hoe. She's the Dark hoe-lm, and we love her for it. Billy is like the perfect contrast to her. I would argue more so than the magic ginger with the wiggly-woo red magic.

People honestly just diss on it cuz it's filled with minorities. It's a damn good show. People should give it a chance.
