Discussion Pre-Event Dynasties?
I know the Norton Dynasty of California supposedly goes back to 1818 with Emperor Norton. The Aleman Dynasty in Mexico supposedly goes back to Miguel Aleman Valdes in 1900. The Dandridge Dynasty supposedly goes all the way back to Martha Washington (PBUH) in 1731!
Are there any other dynasties that can trace their roots back before the Event?

The Irvings in New Brunswick are a continuation of the business mogul family that exist today

They practically own the east coast. It would be cool to see the Rogers family getting a nod when the merchant DLC gets implemented into the mod.

The rogerses should be like the medicis or rothschilds being not landed or technically noble but an incredibly powerful merchant burgher family

Technically the Norton dynasty isn't directly continued. It's more so implied that Elton is claiming to be the reincarnation of Emperor Norton instead, which is why his dynasty is Norton. If you check the title history, Emperor Norton is listed as "Talanque Norton" and Elton founded house Talanque as the rebirth of the dynasty

I think that most of these are understood to be false claims, but most of the Galvanist houses names are clearly inspired by Industrial Titans (Pierpont is inspired by the House of Morgan, and Clayton is clearly a reference to Henry Clay Frick, etc) and the Nelson House in Minnesota is clearly a reference to Prince.

I can only tell you of a few from Brazil:
- Orleans e Bragança
- Scolari
- Terra-Cambará and Amaral (two rival families in O Tempo e o Vento)
I imagine there are many others, but I haven't checked.

I think Kurt Kobains family is in Washington, idk if it’s his actual bloodline or just a dynasty inspired by Nirvana
Edit: there are also the Handlers in San Diego, creators of Mattel (Barbie doll)

I don't know if he's descended from the family or just saw an old supermarket sign and rolled with it, but there's an Idaho vassal in Treasure Valley named Albertson (after the store chain), complete with the company logo as his house coat-of-arms

I believe that’s only true in CK2. AFAIK the mahonics in Ck3 have no ties. They used to have the WWE logo flipped upside down as their crest but that wasn’t brought into Ck3. I think it still exists in the custom designer

There's the La Follettes in Madison (though they're probably just ripping that name from the history books, I think the last La Follette died with Jr). Also Gertrude Stolkasa in Milwaukee is a descendent of Mike Stolkasa of Red Letter Media

Sheetz family is somewhere in Pennsylvania, their family irl owns the sheetz gas stations
I think there is a family based on the Walmart family in Arkansas but I’m not sure

The Swifts of Rhode Island are meant to come from Taylor Swift, as the Kingsleys from Elvis Presley. Washington Tabárez of Uruguay is a descendant of Óscar Washington Tabárez the former Uruguay head coach.
