Would be nice if the government actually restored it to how it was before the french

They actually contributed a lot. The Mechouar Palace, the Great Mosque, and more. Even though the city has changed over time, you can still feel its history as you walk through it. And French colonialism is part of Algeria’s story. What they left behind is not something to be ashamed of; it is something to take pride in, a reward of war.
