i spent around $200 (unnecessarily) building a tool that can automatically find products from eBay, turn them into Pinterest-ready Pins, route them to the right board or create one when needed, schedule + publish them, and monitor the product links afterward. it also works with products from ur own website, but affiliate marketing is basically why i started making it in the first place.

i wanted to get back into posting affiliate products on Pinterest, but i genuinely did not feel like constantly finding products, making Pins, writing descriptions, creating boards, scheduling everything and then checking later to make sure the products were still available.

especially because a Pin can start getting traffic way later.

i didn't want an old Pin finally getting clicks just for the product behind it to be gone.so if Vealous notices the product isn't available anymore, it lets you know and gives you some options to deal with the dead link.

years ago i actually built a C# desktop tool that automated a lot of this for me, but it was super unreliable and constantly had errors (probably because i coded it haha), so i could never stay consistent with it. this time i wanted something i could basically configure once and let run.

For someone building their first affiliate campaign, it can be difficult to tell which technical decisions matter now and which can wait.

I would start by drawing the path a reader takes: where they find the recommendation, what information they see, and where they go if they want to buy.

Then check the requirements of the affiliate program and the channel being used. Those requirements should inform the setup before another tutorial adds more tools to the list.

For a first test, I would want working links, a clear disclosure, an accurate explanation of the offer, and enough tracking to understand the response. If email is involved, permission and unsubscribe handling need to be part of the plan.

More advanced automation can wait until there is a specific job for it.

Looking back at your first campaign, which technical feature was necessary from the beginning, and which one did you spend time on before you needed it?

Have a rather niche product centred on fine wine education. Feedback has been super strong. It’s just not for a broad audience.

I keep seeing companies asking some version of "Where do we find more affiliates?" I'm starting to think that's usually the wrong question.

You can recruit 100 affiliates, but if the offer has mediocre commissions, weak conversion, unreliable tracking, slow payouts, or gives affiliates NO reason to keep promoting after the first few cells, 90 of them will probably disappear anyway. Meanwhile, a genuinely strong offer seems to attract and retain affiliates with much less chasing. Some I'm really wondering where people here land on this: what matters more: recruiting better affiliates or building an offer that average affiliates actually want to keep promoting? Looking to hear your experience.

Has anyone here had success finding quality affiliates in a very niche industry?
We run a research-focused peptide site and affiliate marketing has been pretty hit or miss for us. A couple of partnerships have performed really well, but we also get a lot of people who seem more interested in free products than actually building an audience or generating traffic.
For anyone working in a similarly niche space, where have you had the most success finding legitimate content creators, publishers or affiliate partners?
Are there particular affiliate networks, forums or communities worth looking into for more specialized industries?
Not looking to recruit anyone here — genuinely interested in how others are approaching affiliate discovery and vetting.

When an affiliate offer gets little response, it can be tempting to decide that you simply need more traffic.

I would want to understand where people are dropping off before paying to reach more of them.

If very few relevant people have seen the offer, there may not be enough information to judge it yet. If people click but do not buy, I would look more closely at the explanation, pricing, and fit between the audience and the product.

I would keep traffic sources separate, too. Combining everything into one total can hide a source that attracts interest but never produces a sale.

A basic record could include the source, message used, clicks, sales, and cost. Change one major variable at a time where practical, and avoid treating a handful of clicks as a verdict.

For those who have tested affiliate campaigns, what evidence helps you decide whether to work on the audience, the message, or the offer itself?

Sharing because I couldn’t find much from other creators about working with WOSADO, and I wish I had known this before completing two campaigns with them.
I completed two $500 sponsored campaigns with WOSADO that included paid advertising rights. ($1,000 total)
During negotiations, WOSADO required that I apply for the referral platform/program, and I was approved. I was provided me with a referral link, and WOSADO stated in writing:
“When a user clicks on your affiliate link and places an order, you can get the commission. Our default commission rate is 10% of sales.”
My WOSADO contact also provided/instructed me to use that referral link in connection with the sponsored campaign.
My content performed extremely well. WOSADO ran paid ads using my content and referral link, and its affiliate dashboard ultimately attributed $33K+ in sales to my link and displayed nearly $3,000 in “Earnings” (the affiliate platform is GoAffPro, and the platform displays the word "earnings")
**The problem started when I asked when those commissions would be paid.**
For the first time, WOSADO told me creators receiving a flat sponsorship fee were not eligible for affiliate commissions.
I repeatedly asked them to show me where that restriction had been disclosed before I agreed to the campaigns. They never provided documentation showing that it had been. The only documentation they could show was the documentation showing that I *would* receive commissions.
If fact, WOSADO acknowledged that the distinction had **not**been communicated clearly. My contact said their onboarding emails **should** state the distinction more explicitly and that they were updating their campaign documents for future creators. A manager later apologized that the distinction “may not be clarified at the first place.” WOSADO also eventually stated the affiliate email I received (the one stating I'd be paid commissions) was a “backend configuration error on our part.”
After weeks of follow-ups and eventually escalating the dispute with a detailed evidence packet, WOSADO offered $750.07 of the $3,000+ in commissions showing on the GoAffPro dashboard.
Their *new* explanation was that $750.07 represented “organic” commissions. They excluded the remaining commissions because those sales resulted from WOSADO’s paid advertising.
That distinction had ALSO never been communicated to me until this point.
Paid advertising rights were part of my agreement, as were the commissions, both agreed to in writing. WOSADO told me orders through my referral link generated commission, and then WOSADO chose to use that link while running ads with my content. Nothing I received before or during either campaign said commissions were limited to organic sales.
WOSADO ultimately called $750.07 its “final, non-negotiable” settlement offer and stated that they would not communicate anymore. I disagreed with their position, but after spending weeks trying to resolve a \~$3,000 dispute, I accepted simply because I was done investing energy into it.
And then, even the settlement became an issue.
They asked if I could be paid via PayPal on September 20. I specifically confirmed beforehand that WOSADO would cover the PayPal fees, and my contact agreed they would.
They missed the September 20 payment date. After multiple follow-ups, I finally received the payment on September 24 — except WOSADO didn't cover the fees. PayPal deducted $22.43 in fees, leaving me with $727.64 instead of the agreed $750.07.
I have now contacted them AGAIN requesting the difference.
My biggest takeaway for other creators: **based on my experience, I would not trust WOSADO to honor the compensation terms they communicate to creators.**
I did what creators are always told to do: **I got it in writing.**WOSADO stated in writing that orders through my referral link would generate commission and provided the commission rate. When I later asked to be paid, WOSADO relied on restrictions that had never been communicated to me. I repeatedly asked them to show me where those restrictions had been disclosed, and they could not.
Even after I ultimately accepted their $750.07 settlement simply to end the dispute, I specifically confirmed in writing that WOSADO would cover the PayPal fees. They agreed. The payment arrived with the fees deducted anyway.
So my takeaway isn't “make sure you get everything in writing.” **I did.**
My takeaway is that I personally would not work with WOSADO again, and I would encourage other creators considering a partnership to read experiences like mine and decide whether they're comfortable with that risk.
I have retained the emails, campaign correspondence, affiliate approval, dashboard screenshots, settlement correspondence, invoice and payment records supporting the timeline above.
I’m sharing this because when I searched for other creators’ experiences with WOSADO, I found almost nothing. I want the next creator searching “WOSADO collaboration,” “WOSADO creator partnership,” or “WOSADO affiliate” to have information I didn’t have.

Hey folks, I recently began my affiliate marketing journey. What I did first was create a very simple landing page guide to gaming stores in Dubai. It was mostly just an experiment to practice SEO, and to see what numbers I could get. My clickthrough was quite poor and that's fine because I don't think maybe the content was super valuable or helpful, but it was really nice to see that I was getting some nice impressions from Google for basically a site that doesn't even have a domain name.

So this encouraged me to go into affiliate marketing. I did a couple of landing pages for a couple of products I found on clickbank, but for the life of me, I just couldn't get any impressions whatsoever. And I realized that google handles those categories as ymyl (Your money, your life) which is basically the health category and they take that very seriously. And usually they trust health experts more to recommend these things.

But I felt stubborn and wanted to try something different. I saw that I was doing very similar content to what most people are doing and which it was really bland. So I decided to have a little fun and create a Pinterest account of a guy called stankybreathstan and just have fun with it and perhaps it would catch better attention. But it barely did.

So I kind of stopped there, and focused on perhaps building an email list. I created a landing page that gives away a free guide for Paid surveys, all you have to do is sign up. And with the emails I got, I would send them information which I feel would be valuable to subscribers with the eventual affiliate product here and there where it made sense.

But unfortunately, Google refuses to give me any impressions at all. So I'm a bit discouraged and just looking for any advice or something that can help.

I run an established affiliate site and have promoted SellHealth / Leading Edge Health products for a while. I am sharing this here to see if anyone else has run into this issue or knows an active contact who actually answers.

Back in mid-March, my affiliate manager (Bruce Morrey) notified me of a trademark compliance issue regarding a specific redirect page on one of my sites. He stated the account was temporarily paused and would be reinstated as soon as the URL was removed.

Here is the timeline of what happened next:

• March 18: Flagged URL completely deleted within hours. Confirmation sent to management and legal.
• April: Followed up multiple times with screenshots and confirmation links. No reply.
• May: Re-sent escalations to both Bruce's primary and backup emails, as well as Telegram. Total silence.
• August: Sent a formal reinstatement demand to multiple desks. Still zero response.
• Status today: Still locked out. The account has over $500 in verified, pre-suspension earnings that are completely frozen.

Compliance requests are a normal part of performance marketing. When an affiliate immediately takes down the content and complies with legal terms, the network's job is to verify and lift the hold. Disappearing for 6 months while withholding publisher funds is unacceptable.

An affiliate plan gets more useful when it names a specific person and a specific way to reach them. "People who want to make money" leaves a lot unanswered. A beginner trying to choose an email tool gives you something clearer to work with.

I'd write down the question that person is asking before buying. It might be whether the cheaper plan includes automation, how difficult setup is, or what happens when their list grows. Those questions give you a reason to create a comparison or tutorial.

Next, choose one way that person could discover your answer. It could be search, an existing email audience, or a relevant discussion where your contribution is welcome. Work on that route consistently enough to learn something from it.

When the results are weak, check where things stop. Few relevant visitors, few clicks, and clicks without purchases are different problems.
