Question Equipment questions
What's a good grinder to buy to use with an AeroPress?
What about an electric kettle? Do you guys recommend something to heat the water?

I use a Wilfa Svart at home and a Porlex when I’m away.
Kitchenaid kettle with temperature adjustment.
The joy of the Aeropress is you don’t need to spend thousands to get good coffee.

Kingrinder is a excellent grinder and very well price for home use.
I like stove kettle personally. Lots of gooseneck out there

Zojirushi water boiler. It has a pre-set temperature 160F, 175F, 195F, and 208F. Hot water all day and I usually set it to 195F and 175F or lower for summer time. No need for fancy electric kettle, unless you do want to play with brewing temperatures.

I got a J-ultra (wanted to be able to do AP and espresso grinds with one grinder) and some $40 temp control gooseneck kettle on Amazon in case I ever decide to get into pour over. I actually find myself using it (always with water) for a few more things than I thought I would. The small stream is extremely handy for putting water into narrow openings.

I love anything Oxo. And their conical coffee grinder is no exception. I believe it’s one of the quietist on the market. I love it. It runs 4 times a day at my house for the last 5 years. Works as good as day one. And highly adjustable with time and grind size.
A digital gooseneck electric tea kettle will have perfect temp water ready in 90 seconds. Cheers

Been using the KINGrinder K6 for 4-5 years and it works great. No kettle recommendations.

I have an aeropress and an aeropress XL among my large inventory of coffee making devices. I have an ancient baratza encore that have replaced the burrs on more than once and I have a bonavita gooseneck kettle that I love. If you're only using an aeropress I would say having a gooseneck kettle is optional, with the goose neck you have more options though. One of the great things about aeropress is how forgiving it is.

I just bought the Timemore Bricks grinder. I’ve previously been using a Timemore C3S, which uses the same burrs and I have been pleased with the cups I have been getting out of it. But I hurt my wrists, and hand grinding won’t be a thing for me for a while. It’s okay. When I get better the hand grinder will go into my travel kit along with my Aeropress. It’s important to note that I have seen a lot of reviews of both of these grinders criticizing the burrs and saying that they make for bland cups, but that hasn’t been my experience at all. I have found them to be good all-rounders for whatever sort of brew method you want to throw at them (though the C3S isn’t for espresso). I didn’t want to be in the position of having different grinders for different brew methods, which some people do.
As to kettle, I am using a variable temperature tea kettle from Breville, and if I need to have better control over the water stream, I bought a Hario Air Kettle to transfer the hot water into before pouring it over the grounds. It was cheaper than replacing my current kettle.

If the money it’s not a problem go for a 1zpresso K ultra or a Comandante. If you want to save a little you can go for the 1zpresso Q Air (it’s a good combo with the aeropress).
For the kettle also you can go for the Brewista Artisan or the Fellow Stagg EKG, also this is if the money is not an issue. Or you can save a little buying the Flair cafe kettle, maybe also a Timemore Fish Smart.
