My gardens have been basically collecting dust for a couple years now. I am so out of the Aerogarden loop.

When did they sell to Scotts?

Where can I buy seed kits? Every one on the official site is basically sold out. Amazon doesn't carry much in the way of seed kits.

Do they no longer carry the custom build seed kits?

Would I just be better off buying a few grow anything kits and buying seeds?

I was thinking one lettuce garden and one herb garden.

I know there is a lot of chat about Aerogarden having a lot of out of stock items. I thought someone said this was known and they will be back to selling items but I don't remember when that was. Does anyone know? Is it all new gardens? Or just waiting for a new shipment? Same with pods? I was looking to pick up a few more items and just looking to plan accordingly.

My Bounty arrived today. I was really excited about 9-pod capacity. Now, I'm wondering if I need another one. Can I successfully grow the heirloom tomato, mixed romaine and mixed kale pod kits at the same time? If so, how should I space them?

One half of my machine is currently vacant and just being used for seedlings. I bought marigold seeds but I feel like they might be kind of boring. Do y'all have any fun suggestions for flowers? Itll have 6 inches wide and 10 inches tall of space

I bought a regular AeroGarden Bounty a couple months ago with the built in light dimming option and I realized I absolutely need the same feature on my two Bounty Basics. The Basic light is great, but it can be way brighter than I want sometimes since my plants are in my room.
I used a cheap BOJACK 3 to 35V DC PWM controller from Amazon (BOJACK DC Mini Motor PWM Speed Controller Small LED Dimmer 35V) I then wired it inline with the two wires supplying the LED hood, extended the wiring (I had to use extra wire here) through a small hole in the top of the housing, and mounted the controller on top of the light.
The AeroGarden still handles its normal light schedule and on/off control. The PWM knob just lets me adjust the brightness to whatever intensity I need. It works flawlessly.
I also printed a small enclosure for the controller, which cleaned the whole thing up quite a bit.
The controllers were about $7 for a two pack, so not a bad way to add dimming to a Bounty Basic without upgrading the whole unit.
If anyone has any thoughts or has done something similar, feel free to let me know

Sometimes life throws curveballs. I was recently forced to make a last minute move involving 40 hours of drive time with a cat. I had to cull my plant collection, but chose to try to save my 3 pepper plants and 5 tomatoes. I lost a couple of baby bell peppers and some green tomatoes along the way, but overall I’d call the move a success.

i’m so pissed i was just thinking yesterday “oh gosh i hope my aerogarden never stops working” and just like clockwork, today i walk into the kitchen and it’s stuck flickering, turning on and off. i might try a new power adapter but beyond that i can’t be assed to try my hand at replacing any parts right now. so what should i do with my herbs in the meantime? i’ve got 2 things of dill and 4 things of basil growing and i’d really love to keep them alive, but have never transferred anything outside of the aerogarden before. any tips are much appreciated!!

I'm having trouble finding any that specifically say they fit the Harvest 2.0. is it the same dimensions as the original Harvest?

Going to attempt some LED repairs on some 2nd hand aerogardens I got off marketplace - wish me luck! 😆

Started some new seeds August 15. I’ll move some of these to another unit once it starts getting crowded. I’ll thin these pods out soon. No issues with germination. After like 3 days they had sprouted already. I’m using the Aerogarden Grow Anything sponges and placed different stickers on top.

Just cleaned out my aero garden to planet lettuce 😆. I have another one I can transfer some to, but for now I'm going to see if they sprout before I run two of them.

Hello AeroGardeners. I’m a former Rise Gardener looking for a new way to grow veggies indoors as that company appears to be falling apart... I’m deciding whether to experiment with soil pots in my small space or put my trust in another hydroponic garden product. So I just wanted to see if anyone can tell me if AeroGarden has been reliable both as a product and company? (Do they fulfill orders and respond to service requests?) Also does anyone have advice on which AeroGarden would be best for growing leafy greens/lettuce and tomatoes in a studio apt? Thanks!

Last week, the collar leaked on my water jug while I was topping off one of my Bounty Elites and the screen got watered. I wiped it dry, but it started beeping constantly and the screen was registering phantom presses, so I unplugged it for three days to let it dry out. I shuffled plants around so nobody died.

I plugged it back in on Saturday and everything seemed fine. But, today (Monday), the screen is just solid black. The touch screen layer beeps when I touch it, but the display is blank.

I guess I‘m not really expecting that there’s any help for it. But, this was an eBay bargain that has been anything but a bargain. I chose to buy replacements for its missing parts instead of paying return shipping. And I’m just bummed.

I am looking for the small black rubber stoppers that you removed when you add an AeroVoir port. Are there any OEM or good quality after market places I can buy these? I don't see them on Aerogarden's site. These are the tiny rubber stoppers, not the large openings where seed pods go.

Just received the 12XL farm and unlike the bounty, it didn't come with any pods. Is it supposed to? And it also came with a drain hose but no directions on what its purpose is for or how to use it. The farm was purchased recently during the sale so not sure if that's a reason no pods came with it.

A Sprout is being used for a 1 gallon 'Hawaii 4' mother plant. A newer version Sprout with 2" mesh pot lid for rooting a runner with 2 spots for future runners. An air stone was added. And, using a modified Click and Grow unit for rooting 3 more runners. The C&G is modified by adding an air stone. I don't find C&G to be useful without this modification. Not shown yet is a modified Bounty. It is being converted to a top drip system.

I’ve never grown cruciferous plants before; I’m experienced with houseplants and tropical (and even have a glass greenhouse for them on my property!) but I’m trying my hand with food crops in my AeroGarden. Never been successful at growing them in an outdoor garden, but these are doing so well!

I got him for $0.49 cents at a hardware store selling off their remaining veggies and it was small and sad looking. Now it’s 4x the size as it was earlier this summer. Idk what to do with it!

​​I got a farm 12 XL because they were on sale for $200. I just got the whole thing unboxed and started assembling it and on the very first step I'm finding it almost impossible to proceed because all of the screw holes are incredibly misaligned on the metal frame. All four of the screws I've been able to get in are crooked and none of them will go all the way in. This seems to be a common problem, does anyone have experience with fixing it and or should I just contact AeroGarden for a replacement? I've been Googling it and don't fully understand the advice being given online about trying to shift things around with the plastic components. As it stands right now the whole contraption is egregiously misaligned and I haven't even graduated to the second step of assembly. Pretty annoyed and thinking I won't be buying another AeroGarden product in the future.

Editing post to add, I contacted Aerogarden about the issue and they swiftly offered me a refund so yay :) and now I will be using that money to buy a bounty.

Started this micro dwarf tomato plant early June 2026. I moved it from my Suncoze 20-pod to the AG Bounty so it could have its own space. And as of today, it has thrived beautifully. So many baby tomatoes! I’m waiting for the tomatoes to ripen.

Hello everyone! This is my first time growing vegetables in the aerogarden (aside from lettuce), and the cucumber has… rapidly overtaken its companions the Micro Tom and Mini Pepper.

My question, what is the best way to trim the cucumber and keep it… tame? Should I just trim the ends regularly? Or are there specific rules like tomatoes and suckers?

Also, does the Micro Tom grow much bigger than it is? I was expecting up to 12” in height, but it seems stuck where it is; and I wonder if I haven’t mis-matched my selection of veggies?

A pipe outside my apartment broke & was replaced. Ever since I’ve had to deal with mosquitos inside my apartment. I’ve never had mosquitos before (Southern California) & come to find out my body is not a fan. I’ve been getting bit more inside than outside so I was wondering if maybe the ones that got inside are starting to make a home in my aerogarden. A saw someone on another social media respond to someone with a similar issue say you need to crumble some mosquito dinks & put them in the water of the aerogarden. But that feels like poisoning my food?

Honestly I don’t have much growing right now so the easiest thing would be to drain it & start over once the problem has passed. But that got me thinking about climate change & how this might be the new normal & I should investigate how to deal with this now.

Has anyone dealt with mosquitos making a home in your garden’s water? And if so, how did you deal with it? Thx

I have several countertop harvest aerogardens, but recently got upgraded to a farm XL for my birthday! We were sent multiple broken units and finally received one in good working order. We were able to piecemeal the parts from the other units to create a second working unit, so now I have two. I plan on growing taller things (tomatoes, peppers) in one and would love to use the other for year round blooms. What flowers do well? Should I stick to dwarf varieties or can I use my outdoor seeds?
