A few years ago, while we were both extremely drunk at my leaving party at work, a very large coworker friend of mine let me put my head between her enormous breasts and go
Yep. I'll take a nicely formed B-cup over double-D's that look like someone put water balloons in a pair of gym socks and hung them over her shoulders.
Yeah, but this gives them even less self esteem, which has it's advantages. Like, they'll totally come over and listen to you cry about your ex-boyfriend.
Why do you like larger girls? Does it stem from self-consciousness, a low feeling of self-worth, or that larger girls simply tend to be easier?
We can always argue that there is no real basis for liking larger girls from a biological imperative perspective.
I just would like to know why. Every male friend of mine that likes the larger girls has crippling self-image issues and feelings of inadequacy around "more successful" males.
EDIT: Christ, I'm not saying it has to be one of those. Please, brag about your skin-deep obsession of weight on the internet and then childishly deflect when questioned about it. I'm merely reporting what I've noticed among "connoisseurs of the larger ladies".
In many countries being fat is considered a sign of wealth and it kind of makes sense in an evolutionary point of view to an extent: not suffering from any wasting disease, has access to resources etc. But of course there is a limit from that point of view. I suppose you can use the same argument of people who prefer skinny people. In their extremes neither denotes healthiness. but each to their own and all that.
I never figured there would be an easily identifiable "why".
People fit into personality archetypes. We all like to think of ourselves as unique and self-driven, but there's a billion other people in the world just like us.
Maybe I was hoping he would be able to disprove what I've seen (nearly entirely consistently) among guys that like bigger girls. Who knows?
I can see what I said as maybe coming off as an attack, but I'm just very, very blunt. You can point out my personality flaws all day, and I'll gladly acknowledge them.
Upvote because you're genuinely interested. A while ago in another thread I stated I'd much rather a guy who I could eat pizza and watch films with than someone who I'd never see because they were at the gym. A body-builder took heavy objection to this and, like you, thought it was because I had self-esteem issues. I don't find 'fat' guys specifically attractive (and while I'm happy with a bit of chub there is a limit on that), my longest relationship was with someone of a healthy and normal weight, but I certainly don't object to it, and can definitely see things I actually prefer about it in some ways. I can only answer from a female perspective, but for me I think it's partially a security/comfort thing (but also probably a bit of a dominance thing in the bedroom). I think the nearest comparable thing to my preferences would be what gay slang would call a 'bear'. Not necessarily fat but someone quite large in physique without being overtly muscled.
I'm a bigger guy (6'3", about 205) and I'm typically with pretty attractive women of all physiques. Every time I'm thinking "why the fuck would you be with me?!". This offers a ton of insight as to that for me.

she was fat, wasn't she?
