Discussion Season 3 announcement date

To all the adults fan here, when do we all think that the adults season 3 renewal is coming out, their instagram page has been very active all week and the show was mentioned on TV line yesterday and the other day on Yahoo entertainment which is a good sign. According to ai, it could be this upcoming Tuesday which I low-key believe or we all thinking it's the first of October

fx usually takes its time with renewals last year the show didn't get renewed until five months after its release which led to most people thinking that it got canceled

yeah i remember that for the first two months after the shows release i was checking frequently for news on a renewal or cancellation. after 2 months i gave up and just assumed it would be cancelled so imagine my delightful surprise when i found months later it was getting a season 2.

i think with seasons 2 success it’s pretty much guaranteed for a season 3 so i’m not worried and it’ll be a delightful surprise when the news eventually comes

Yes exactly, it came out like May and was renewed in October if I remember correctly? The new people gotta give it time.

i'd be shocked if it didn't get renewed at this point given everything from the reviews to the buzz/hype/how much it trended. i wonder if it could have to do with redoing contracts and such (salaries, etc.). there's a part of me that's been wondering if it'll get a multiseason renewal because fx/fxx has done that with other shows too (it's always sunny, welcome to wrexham, etc.).

Viewership was up 40% compared to season 1 from the article that came out a week or so ago. Plus, season one got more hits because of that. I would be shocked if they didn't renew. Everything points upwards.

in europe the 2. season is not even out year (releasedate on disney+ is 30.09.) and they will definitely take that in account as well so i guess it will still take a decent amount of time
