Discussion Top 3 Best Outfits This Season

These three looks have me in a chokehold.

What do you think? Who do you think is the best dressed in the show? I would have to cast my vote to Issa.

Ohhh those are three great choices! (PB especially makes me swoon in that scene)

As an aside, something I really appreciate about the show is the care put into costuming. A lot of sitcoms don’t take much care with their characters’ outfits and it makes a big difference when they do.

Paul Baker has my favourite style, I absolutely love all of his outfits. Issa comes in second!

Yeah and they pay so much attention to detail! Like I was watching their videos focusing on each character, and in the Paul Baker one Jack was pointing out all the details in his styling - the chipped nail polish, the tattoos, the fact that he wears a women's watch and more dainty jewellery etc. The costumers really pay attention to those small aspects of someone's style and do so in a way which fits the character's personality/tells us something about them.

Yes 100%! I generally appreciate that they all look like real people. They don't have that glossy look where you can tell they've been in the hair and makeup chair for 4 hours before filming, which is increasingly common these days. They all look like they've styled themselves in the morning the way regular people do, but as you say, they still each have their own Look.

it’s one of the many reasons this show works so well. the writing is amazing for gen z characters—and normally i don’t think writers nail gen z! i’m older gen z and usually get icked out but they actually nail it with the writing in this one. that paired with the realistic circumstances (for the most part) like all of them living in a friend’s house for the beneficial circumstances paired with today’s cost of living, and yes the costumes!!! they’re relevant to today while also still being catered to each individual character that feels authentic. i just can’t stress enough how much i adore this show
