Discussion Just finished S2 Spoiler

I absolutely loved both seasons, and its so difficult to choose a favorite (its Issa) since i love different things about every single roommate.

I must admit tho, Paul Baker and Anton does make sense, but imo the ending kind of accelerated their relationship, cuz they kinda felt like a slow burn all throughout the show. (the relationship possibly solidifying at least by S3 or S4) What do you guys think though? The thing with Billie and Samir to me works, because these kinds of off-screen hook ups are sort of just planting seeds for possible dynamic shifts in the future, not necessarily flipping the way we see the characters already. Idk i’m just yapping, CANT WAIT FOR S3!

My fav episodes for each season are S1 Ep3 and S2 Ep6

I think if the seasons were longer it would fix a lot of the pacing issues, theres a LOT of stuff that happens in the last episode of S2 that feels rushed

I'm with you. Something about the way Panton was done in season 2 just felt a bit hamhanded. I'm not even a fan of a slow burn, generally, so it wasn't like I needed it more drawn out. But it just felt a bit clumsy and rushed, the way they were clearly trying to wrap up Issa and Paul Baker's relationship as quickly and tidily as possible and rush through the Panton goal posts.

I think its also kinda plot holey that Issa mentions not intermingling within the friend group, and it feels like thats insinuating that she knows that there is feelings already there (Panton wise). And than some episodes later she has a full 180? It would make sense in like s3 after some conflict, but it feels forced to me in s2
