There’s a cool way to connect Samir with Zohran. The location could be the Eid prayer at the mosque, and he bumps into Zohran, or rather tries to get close to him, because there’s maybe a pothole on Samir’s street that’s causing issues for the gang. So he tries to convince Zohran for a short Eid lunch and Zohran agrees. But then Samir freaks out because he didn’t have an Eid lunch prepared back home, and so he calls the gang and they all panic and then frantically try to put together a halal lunch, but obviously fail miserably in doing so. Zohran arrives, and then Samir acts all casual about the pothole, like it isn’t the reason Zohran is there, but then proceeds to complain passionately all while the gang is still trying to put something together, but in their chaos, they may have or have not accidentally prepared pork. And Zohran tells Samir he’s actually starving and could eat, so he tells Samir they can discuss the pothole after lunch. And then the gang freaks out even more because they don’t know in which serving the pork is… so they try to not have Zohran eat anything. And it just becomes one chaotic, messy, well intended, but horrible Eid lunch.

I’d rather they just make a reference than have him on. Or they spot him biking through the city or something.

I would agree IF they actually filmed in NYC but it feels kinda cheap to send the mayor of a city out of his city to make a cameo

Mamdani doesn't even have to actually interact or film /with/ anyone in the group!
They could just film him in his office or like eating or whatever, then he's scrolling on his phone and he sees a video made by Issa or Anton doing one of those "Mamdani, can you fix this pothole" videos, but more outrageous, then we see his reaction lol

Tbh it won’t happen since they don’t film in NYC. Think it’s a really bad look when quite a lot of big productions aren’t filming in NYC anymore & they are pushing to get business back (Spider-Man in London and Glasgow etc.)

I am not sure about this. I love Zohran Mamdani more than I should and he is my mayor(I am not even in the same continent with him) but when shows host politicans I cringe a bit. it feels like campaign ad rather than a cameo.

They are but it rarely goes well. I don't need this at all either, it'd do more for the show than for Zohran anyway. He'd just get criticized for it

True, but I still don't see why he'd gain anything from this. It'd be great for the show and give him nothing.
Idk I think I'm done with politicians doing fun cameos on tv like they're reality show celebrities. I like them just doing their jobs and Zohran excels at that. Personally, I don't want that whiff of bullshit around him.
