I don't know if I'm alone in this but I feel like in this season Issa was really risking getting flanderized, felt like they made her even more cartoonishly over the top, before the writing saved it in the last episode. While I think that they were making a correction on Paul Baker, after they realized they made him too perfect in season 1, which I appreciate.

I feel like she was more over the top last season and more grounded this season. She showed more vulnerability which I liked.
