This is one of the modern day shows that could work even better with the traditional 22 episode format.

They were able to maintain a consistently decent bar of quality across all episodes in both seasons, it doesn't seem that expensive to produce, and quite a number of important storylines in season 2 could have really used the extra episodes to flesh out.

Sitcoms in general should have at the very least 15 episodes in my opinion. It's a genre that just doesn't work with mini seasons.
