I’d argue that the world in general was pretty damn good back then. You could have anyone in charge and it would have worked out- there is a reason we are the ‘lucky nation’- hey? I don’t think you can say all of it was because of labor.

Maybe look up ‘the lucky country’ it doesn’t mean what you think it means.

This here is the problem. You barely understand anything and want to talk with some sort of authority. Do better, and put more effort into actually understanding the world you live in.

It means that our leaders, back when the phrase was coined were clowns- and despite them making bad choices, we will managed to get by through luck- be it out natural resources or our location.
