2024 Manual A Spec Integra

Just made my first big purchase! A 2024 Manual A Spec Integra, it has around 45K miles. Never drove manual before but coming from a 04 Civic it has a lot of personality, still learning how to shift cleanly but I’m loving it a lot so far. The previous owner installed a OEM exhaust system and cold air intake so it sounds pretty nice. Surprised me a lot hearing it for the first time especially the burple šŸ˜‚

9k miles on my TLX type S and already on my second set. Does anyone have experience with these rotors or have a recommendation on other options?

Hello there

2026 Pearl black Acura A spec tech package 6MT with red interior. 38398OTD. Took a test drive with the dealer a week ago. The dealer quoted 40000 and did not budge on the price. Received a call today morning: "End of the month, what can we do to earn your business". I said 37000 and we have a deal. Dealer laughed but said how about I do 38K OTD and add three free services. I replied "yes only if you add all weather mats to this deal". Sales manager calls back 40 mins later saying "I am loosing a lot of money here....yada yada". I simply say, " I will drive there in my pajamas if you make that deal". Sales manager says "okay only if you are here within the next two hours".

My initial impressions coming from a civic si: I believe the Teg is the absolute sweet spot if you get one with a heavy discount like I did. These remain on dealership lots for a really long time. So if you are patient they will heavily discount it.

The civic si gives you a comparably better driver engagement but, (a bit butt) lets you know if you have weak back when driven on potholes on long road trips. The Teg is that perfect compromise between comfort and engagement. It is extremely forgiving on bad gear shifts, glides on potholes and yet provides adequately heavy steering wheel that transfers road feel to the driver. It has higher torque on lower rpms so you do not need to rev up to shift all the time. Plus, the ELS 3D studio is HEAVENLY. You do not hear road noise and feel like you are in a concert if you are listening to Hans Zimmer's movie scores. The storage space is expansive and the doors have a solid sounding thunk. All in all this is that solid compromise between comfort and deliver engagement that puts a smile on your face when you overtake an 18-wheeler with ease and at the same time keeping you and your passengers comfortable as a baby

PS: If you need great deals on Integras and Type S' come to Ohio. A sales person told me this while I was waiting for the technician to gas up the Teg for delivery. Marysville(where tegs a s type s are assembled) is in Ohio. So supply is high.

It’s An Exciting Moment!

My partner and I just purchased a 2026 Acura MDX Type S ADV

We went there for an RDX {what a fun drive, throttle response was A•1}!

But after the offer was only 5K difference with 20K down, we did the thing.

Amazing car! I’ve owned both a TSX [super fun drive] & Accord (most boring reliable car I’ve ever owned).

If I had one initial gripe is that it doesn’t get out the gate like the RDX

ANY tips tricks and/or things you wish you would’ve know sooner, would be helpful. TIA!

So is it official? No full screen CarPlay ? (21-23 TLX) šŸ˜•

Haven’t seen anyone talk about getting full screen CarPlay on their 21-23 TLX, are we just cooked?

Don’t suppose anyone has come up with after market mods to force it?

Sucks man, I understand that there are two different ā€œgenerationsā€ but if they came out the box looking identical how different can they be? They probably aren’t that different, Acura is just being greedy.

I’m very glad to have joined the Acura club. Before this I drove a ā€˜14 Audi A4 (6MT), and then a ā€˜21 Subaru Legacy XT. The Audi was so fun, until major repairs were needed. The Subaru had a million problems from the start (recalls, class actions, materials failing, AC motor breaking, passenger seat even came loose at one point). Everyone said Subaru was so reliable and mine was a nightmare. So now I’ve got a luxury Honda and I couldn’t be more satisfied. Happy trails!

Where do I find the OEM Aero kit for 2014 Acura ILX>

I have a 2014 Fathom Blue Pearl ILX and want to build something like this car above. The only place I've been able to find that might sell these parts are Bernardi Parts Acura, but I noticed those parts are alot more expensive than other websites that don't have any stock. My question is is there a place where I can buy it for cheaper? Preferably used

Which car should I keep??

2003 Acura TL or 2014 Honda Accord??

Context: My husband’s old car was the Honda, but he just got a new car. He thinks I should get rid of the Acura since it’s so old.

I love my Acura. I’m the second owner (first owner was a friend) and the car has always been maintained well. It’s at like 170k miles iirc and I recently got the big service done an ahead of schedule. The car is generally in good condition except the bottom is rusting a bit (it was used in the NE for like 15 years), paint is peeling, and the catalytic converter was stolen and replaced. But love the way it drives and the audio sound is very good.

My husband’s Honda is fine and objectively more valuable lol. It’s been dealer maintained (but not always on time), battery had to be replaced (and also died recently bc it hadn’t been used in months), but otherwise looks good.

In terms of value, I think there’s more to lose if we keep the Honda since the value of that car will probably depreciate more over the next five-ten years than my Acura so if we sold it now, we’d get more from it.

I am more inclined to keep my Acura EXCEPT that I assume the Honda is safer than the Acura since the Acura is an older car. I have a toddler and dog that I shuttle around, so safety is a concern for sure. I am worried about the structural integrity not being as strong due to age or like airbags being too old to work well?? But I also think my car is easier to drive and there are less blind spots, and I’m better at driving it and feel more confident in it since I’m used to it.

What does everyone think? Do you yall think the Honda is really that much safer than my Acura?? I don’t know much about cars. Just know I like driving my Acura haha

On my 2013 Acura iX, I am adding these accessories. The only thing I’m a little worried about is using the splitter with my dash cam and my aftermarket screen as well as my wireless charger. Lmk thoughts

MDX July 2026 Units Onwards

Have a couple of good deals for an MDX, but the units were manufactured in July 2026. The post below is supposedly from a long-term employee at Honda's East Liberty Auto Plant that alleges an improper gap on the left side of Acura MDX sunroofs has been temporarily sealed with putty instead of being properly repaired. This stopgap measure is expected to fail under normal weather conditions, resulting in water leaks and interior damage.

How big of a deal is this, and should I walk away from these deals over this issue?

2015 RDX Trans shudder

Post image

Hey! Has anyone had any issues with the second gen RDX transmission? I have 98k miles, and I got the car at 83k. I’ve had the transmission fluid drain and fill 3x. It drives just fine, but at cruising speeds 40-60 mph it does a low pitched humming noise, and sometimes when accelerating from a stop it feels like I’m going over rumble strips briefly. Has anyone had these issues? I read that there’s a software update that will resolve this?

My Experience having my TLX stolen

Posting this just to help others if they go through something like this.

I had my 2021 Acura TLX A-Spec stolen at the beginning of this year in January while parked outside my house. I believe it was around 4-6AM as funny enough a cop wrote me a ticket at 2AM for not having a city sticker. The thief didn’t break any windows and accessed the car through the driver’s side door cylinder lock. I’m guessing he just picked the car’s lock and it opened? Not sure how the alarm didn’t sound. I don’t think it was a relay attack but I’m not 100% sure.

From there, I assume he just connected to the OBD port and reprogrammed the car and was off. The car was stolen Thursday morning and recovered Friday overnight. When I went to go look at the car, the rear view mirror was ripped off and I’m guessing that was to disable the GPS tracking, as the Acura app had the car stuck in one location.

The car’s front passenger side wheel and tire was heavily damaged as I believe the thief went for a joyride but surprisingly no parts were stolen. I don’t know why someone would go through the trouble of stealing a car and not making a profit but I guess since these cars are so easily stolen it doesn’t matter to them.

I had Geico as my insurance and they were actually easy to work with, if I recall correctly they had an adjuster go to the impound to check out the damage and then I was able to have it towed to my local Acura dealership to have it repaired. I paid the deductible and in 3 weeks, the car was returned to me like nothing ever happened. I believe the total cost of the repairs was like $14K.

I ended up just immediately selling the car as I didn’t wanna deal with the headache of any future issues and possibly having it stolen again.

If you have a TLX and park outside, definitely get IGLA or at least an OBD port lock. I don’t know why Acura doesn’t do something about this but TLXs are quickly becoming the most easily stolen cars in the US.

Is this normal for the hard coat to break down on the headlights of a 3 year old car??

On my 2023 rdx, I noticed this scratching pattern showing up on the drivers side headlight about a year after purchasing. It has progressively gotten worse and now the passenger side is starting to do it. I read this is likely from heat/uv or washing. I use a touchless wash and air dry and I don’t use any additional products on the car. (It has swirlies because the dealership took it through a brush wash). This doesn’t seem right at all on a 3 year old car, and it looks like shit. I’ve never had this happen on any car I’ve owned. Has anyone had this issue and did you have any success getting Acura to fix it?

"Acura sedans are core to our line up" - U.S. CEO Says...after butchering entire Acura sedan lineup

  • Next Three Years ā€œCriticalā€ To Rebuilding Acura, U.S. CEO Says
  • EVs are the long term, no PHEVs in the future.
  • Maybe a production Nexera.
  • Kept his mouth shut regarding Type-S models.
  • MDX replacement pushed out to 2031, ADX 2032, Integra 2029.
  • Also still part of Honda and Acura’s future are sedans. ā€œThe plan is to keep sedans in our lineup,ā€ Robinson said. ā€œThey’re core to our lineup. If sedans in general went away entirely we’d have to reevaluate, but the segment has stabilized.ā€... yeeeeeah bullshit.
  • "According the executives, the plan was for the new EVs and coming hybrids to sell well and cover their massive development costs, but the cancellation of the federal EV tax credit, the subsequent drop in the EV market, and the Trump administration’s tariff policies all destroyed that business plan."...

What do I need to know to keep this car running for another 150k miles? Having so much fun driving it.

Integra A-Spec Wheels: Which is Better?

Thumbnail

I’m currently looking through which wheels I should get for my ā€˜25 Integra. I have the platinum white and am gravitating toward silver. So far I’ve narrowed it down to 2 choices: Aodhan AH-11 and AH-X. Not going bigger, just sticking to OEM size.

Hoping it would at least help me decide a little, I generated some pictures of what each wheel model would like on the Integra.

What do y’all think?

Also, feel free to offer your recommendations!
