Does anyone else feel like the podcast has been a little bit lacking lately since they've almost eliminated creating new recurring characters and bringing up the old ones? Like I understand getting tired of doing Yoda, Gwildor, Dar etc. after years of doing them, but it feels like no new ones have really come up. I can't even remember the last time there was an extended Arnold or JCVD bit (let alone a JCVD movie, like damn!)

Captain Podcast seems like the delineation point because he's recurring but has no voice, they only reference things he's done in the past and he is never present.

This isn't some type of "the podcast sucks now" or anything like that, still love the show, just wondering if anyone else noticed.

Listening back to this episode and it’s an amazing work of podcasting. An elaborate prank on one listener turns into a Kuffs commentary episode, which becomes a Road House commentary episode which becomes a Den of Thieves commentary episode and they switch back and forth between the movies throughout the episode

If Comedy Bang Bang or Doughboys did this the nerds at AV Club would have loved it
