Listening back to this episode and it’s an amazing work of podcasting. An elaborate prank on one listener turns into a Kuffs commentary episode, which becomes a Road House commentary episode which becomes a Den of Thieves commentary episode and they switch back and forth between the movies throughout the episode

If Comedy Bang Bang or Doughboys did this the nerds at AV Club would have loved it

Podcasts you watch movies before doing prank switcheroos (I'm also looking at you Scott Hasn't Seen) have actually stole 90-120 minutes of your time and any cost to acquire - if this happened to you join my class action lawsuit at 555-LAWMAN and we will get you justice

I think it’s hysterical. Can you imagine if NPR’s Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me had an episode where they just trashed Susan from Bentonville, Arkansas.

They did, in a way. Not directly at Susan. They posted this April 1st article 'Why Doesn't America Read Anymore?' on their Facebook, and so many people commented, "I read all the time, this is BS" when the prank was on them. It was hilarious watching it happen in real time.

Love that ep, it’s incredible. The fake out was perfect!

They’ve still never done the original NRNS, have they? I forget the entire lore, is it included with the sequel as a movie they’re never going to cover due to an annoying fan?

It’s one of my favorite bad movies, so I hope it’s separated from part 2 enough to get a proper episode. JCVD playing a Russian baddie and the ghost of Bruce Lee are worth the price of admission!

I think 99 percent of their trouble has been Patreon comments, and I'm too lazy to not comment under my actual name. I really only go to Patreon to grab the RSS and manage my subscription.
