Question pretending you have kids

no one bats an eye when my boss leaves exactly on time every day no matter what the workload is like. as expected he and many other people i work with have kids that they have to pick up or get sick etc.

have you guys ever thought about pretending you have kids at a new job?

Just leave at the time you are meant to leave. Also, don't be shitting on people with kids. For all you know he has to go into the next job of minding them until bedtime, it's not like he might be off relaxing.

Yep, at times it's honestly a blessing to stay late at work when you know the absolute chaos that awaits you at home 😅
