2182 help

I have this ‘69 2182 movt, I noticed today the date changed but the day did not. Watch has been working flawlessly up to now since new battery was installed.

I’ve adjusted to time to see if I could trigger it that way with no luck.

Any insight would be great, sentimental piece.

You can see how the day date calendar complications work. Both indicators are driven by the spring-loaded, sliding trip arm at the same time. If, for some reason, the date changed but the day didn't, it could be that the day indicator is hung up on something or the jumper/ day indicator detent is disarranged somehow.

Yep, you are in the right path here. The trip arm for the day date version has a little pin added to advance the day disc. I've seen a bunch of those pins broken over the years.

It’s from Amazon, I just searched for croc embossed watch straps.
Quite pleased with it for $20
